SPECIAL CHAPTER - 3

"Why have you been so irritated since morning? Hmm?" asked Ivan, as he and Danil had breakfast together. Today, Ivan and Danil would go to the floating casino to inspect the work, and then they would go to Ivan's casino. Danil raised his head and looked at Ivan, making a sullen face.

"I had a nightmare," Danil replied.

"What nightmare?" asked Ivan, curious.

"I dreamed you were with someone else." Danil replied in an irritated tone, causing Ivan to put his hand on his head.

"You know, don't you know? That it was just a dream." Ivan asked. Danil grimaced slightly.

"I know, but the person who appeared in my dream and took you away from me was someone I know." Danil replied.

"Who?" asked Ivan, without thinking much.

Danil pursed his lips a little.

"Katya, daughter of Arodion." Danil replied. Ivan raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"Danil..." Ivan called Danil in a serious tone.

"I know it's just a dream. I'll stop being angry soon." Danil said, trying to lighten the situation, thinking Ivan would say it was just his dream.

"I was just about to tell you that I scheduled a meeting with Katya today to discuss some business." Ivan replied. He thought it was really a coincidence that Danil had dreamed about Katya. So she felt she needed to tell Danil first, afraid that he would be worried. Danil paused for a moment as he listened.

"Are you in contact with her?" asked Danil immediately. He never knew that Ivan was in contact with Katya.

"It's just a professional contact." Ivan emphasized to make sure Danil understood.

"What kind of work?" asked Danil, curious.

"You know we won the bid for the diamond mine, right?" Ivan asked. Danil nodded in confirmation.

"Katya works with jewelry and gemstones. We will be sending rough diamonds to her company, so we always need to keep in touch about the work." Ivan explained it straightforwardly.

"You never told me about it." Danil replied, surprised, as he had never known it before.

"I only started talking to her less than a month ago." Ivan replied. Danil grimaced slightly.

"And where did you arrange the meeting with her?" asked Danil.

"At the DD casino. You're coming with me, aren't you?" Ivan replied.

"Yes." Danil confirmed immediately.

"Stop worrying, okay?" Ivan said, his tone softer.

"I know," Danil replied, realizing that it was just a dream. And on the day the floating casino opened, Katya and Arodion also came to congratulate them. Danil thought that they probably already knew that he and Ivan were together, as a couple.

After finishing their meal, they headed straight to Danil's floating casino. If there was an important meeting, Luka would go too, but most of the time, Danil was the one overseeing the inspections.

Danil and Ivan spent the morning at the floating casino and in the middle of the day they went to Ivan's casino, as he had arranged to meet Katya at 1 pm.

"Boss, Miss Katya and her secretary have arrived." Karev entered and informed Ivan, in the office where Danil was also. Danil was waiting to meet the young woman, since the last time he saw her was at the opening of the floating casino.

"Come in." Ivan replied, before quickly glancing at Danil.

Danil showed no reaction and continued working. It wasn't long before Karev entered with Katya and his assistant.
