"Do you think that kittypet is still okay?" Flamepaw asked, taking a break from running.

"It's Amberheart, he's so dead," Brightpaw smirked. "You warned him, didn't you? It's his own fault, so I'm not worried in the slightest."

"I mean, he did prevent us from losing," Flamepaw said, sitting down.

Brightpaw shrugged. "Yeah, but it's not like we would've died or something, he did that completely in vain."

Flamepaw laughed. "You suck."

"Hey! I'm only being honest with you" Brightpaw laughed as well.

They sat in silence for a bit once they stopped laughing for a bit.

"Hey uhh, I'm sorry," Flamepaw said, looking down.

"About what?" Brightpaw tilted her head.

"You know... about blaming you for all that stuff... and your mom..." Flamepaw replied.

"Oh... I forgive you, I guess." Brightpaw shuffled her paws.

They had another awkward moment of silence before Brightpaw looked up at the sky and realized something.

"It's almost sun high!" She yelled enthusiastically.

"It is?!" Flamepaw's ears perked up.

'Yeah! Let's get close to camp so we can win as soon as sun high hits!" She took off

"O-ok!" Flamepaw quickly ran after her.

...

Amberheart yawned. "I spent too much time dealing with you, now they definitely lost me." She grumbled at Azalea, who was now facing downward, back against a tree, and blood-stained from the neck down.

"I can't believe I had to waste time on a kittypet, maybe if you had just went home you wouldn't have had to leave your sister all alone." She said while walking away from the moribund cat.

Amberheart ran off to find Brightpaw and Flamepaw. "It's pretty close to sun high, they might've ran near camp so they could end this as soon as possible." She said to herself.

Just as it turned sun high, Brightpaw and Flamepaw ran through the entrance of Thunderclan, as a huge sudden wave of relief washed over the both of them.

"We did it!" Brightheart exclaimed.

"I guess we did, you weren't so bad of a partner as I thought you would be." Flamepaw chuckled.

"Wait, where's Berrypaw and Applepaw?" Brightpaw asked, with slight concern.

"You don't see them?" Flamepaw tilted his head.

Multiple running pawsteps were heard from behind the two apprentices. They both turned around just to see Applepaw and Berrypaw running for their lives, Raventhorn was just behind them.

But just before Raventhorn could catch them, they both made it through.

Berrypaw and Applepaw just collapsed on each other from exhaustion.

"We... made it..." Berrypaw said, out of breath.

"...yeah.." Applepaw Agreed.

"Berrypaw!" Brightpaw ran over to him, and Flamepaw also walked over to the tired cats.

"So you all made it?!... Can't say I'm not surprised." Raventhorn huffed trying to sound amused. "Where's Amberheart?"

"I'm right behind ya!" Amberheart announced, prancing in front of Raventhorn.

"Why are you covered in blood?" Raventhorn tilted his head.

"Oh? I got sidetracked." She smiled, trying her best to wipe it all off.
