Chapter 8 - Stay silent.

I arrived at school, found a door that wasn't closed, the back one for the janitor and the sports activities after school. You know, no one is supposed to be around those hallways at this hour, especially a random girl who never went to any of these activities..

''What are you doing here.'' He scared me to death-

''Mister John, sorry I didn't saw you'' He's one of my old teacher in art

''It's late Astra, you shouldn't be here'' How can I explain this?

''I.. Forgot my homework due tomorrow!'' Pretty solid excuse

''Oh, then be quick, and if someone sees you, say you're here for me'' He's a literal father figure I love him-

I continued my way to the construction site, the door was still there so I advanced in the staircase, opened the library door and entered. Frye was still there.

''Astra ? Aren't you at home'' She says confusingly

''I.. Was bored'' Making dumb excuses again

''What did you told your parents?'' She asked

''Oh just that I went for a walk''

''Liar.''

''You said you didn't want me to tell them?'' I was surprised

''Nah girl, your lying to me''

No words came out after that, she asked me if everything was okay at home, I told her the truth over a drink, she listened to me, I never went to therapy but that felt like it, well it felt really good. When we finished, she offered me a little bed saying I could stay here for tonight.

''You know i'm leaving tomorrow huh.'' I turned around really quickly

''What? Already :('' I was sad

''Yea, I got some food from the cafeteria, I'll be good for at least 6 months, and anyway I found food a lot''

''But you're like, my only friend here Frye'' I said.

''... I can't stay here''

''What if I came with you instead? It'll free me from school, my parents, and I'll stay with you!'' That's the brightest idea I've got for awhile

''I mean, I wouldn't mind a companion, okay fine. You're coming with me''
