I've never been this scared before
Feelings I just can't ignore
Don't know if I should fight or fly
But I don't mind

Nicholas.

Immediately my stomach starts hurting as my heart begins to race and I start looking around. Robin comes back from the bathroom sitting close to me she starts kissing on me and my neck and I couldn't even enjoy it because I was silently paranoid looking around at everyone who would even glance at this direction.

She sits back and gives me a confused worried look, "Nicholas you seem a little tense, are you okay?" She asks.

"I, um, yeah. I'm cool yeah," I say as I looked at her flashing a fake smile, "are you good? I mean...are you okay?"

"Yeah, how about we continue our night at the club. I don't want it to end now Nicky!" She says.

"Sure, yeah okay." I agree and she kisses my cheek then jumps out of the booth pulling me out and to my feet.

I put the note in my jacket pocket as we walk out to the valet to get my car back. I was expecting damage after the weird note left for me, but my car was perfectly fine. I was given my keys and we got into the car. I drove off. I felt bad because on the way to the nightclub Robin would try to make conversation, but I would only respond with one word answers. There was just so much going on in my mind and I didn't have my gun on me, so I was silently paranoid thinking of where this person could be. I've had to shoot a few people in my past, never killed them besides one, but they were all self defense never willingly besides one person and that was two years ago. Unless the family of his wants revenge on his behalf. It wouldn't be pretty for their own sake... I can guarantee. Thinking about the note made me instantly think about my daughter.

"Hey do you mind if we call your mom? I just want to check on Solana." I say interrupting Robin between her sentence.

"Yeah, um, okay." She says and calls her mom. She puts it on speaker It rings a few times then goes to voicemail, "oh, she didn't pick up they maybe asleep it is 11 o'clock. Way past both of their bedtimes."

I deeply sigh in frustration and just repeat to myself in my head that they're just sleeping instead of lashing out on Robin about it. There was no urgency from her, but she doesn't know about the note that was left. Quite frankly she won't ever find out about it because this will be my problem to handle and figure out to keep my girls safe.

I arrive at the nightclub and I park on the side of the street. I got lucky because usually there is no parking nearby. We both get out and immediately I'm looking around to try and catch anyone looking suspicious as we walked to the line. We get inside and the music is blowing through the speakers already. The vibe is dark and there are a lot of bodies everywhere.

I grab Robins hand quickly and slightly pull her back as we were going through the crowd, "Stay close to me Rob. I don't want to lose you in this crowd." I bend down and say in her ear through the loud music.

She nods her head, "Oh now you want to hold my hand." I look at her confused as she is looking out at the crowd.

"Rob what?" I respond. I guess she's angry I didn't hold her hand and walk with her going into the club.

"Nothing. I'm going to get a drink probably a few shots, do you want something?" And I shook my head. "Go find us an open spot or a section or something."
