The next day, Hanbin found himself drawn to the rooftop again. The weight of grief still pressed down on him, suffocating and relentless. He had woken up with the same empty feeling, the same ache that refused to leave him. He climbed the stairs slowly, feeling the familiar pull of the rooftop's edge. This time, he told himself, maybe it would be different. Maybe the pain would end.

He knew Matthew would try to stop him again, but Hanbin's stubbornness and his longing for Hao clouded his judgment.

He missed him too much-every single moment without Hao felt unbearable. Hanbin reached the rooftop, his heart heavy with memories of his lost friend. He stood on the edge, his mind swirling in chaos.

But as he took a step forward, something unexpected happened-his foot caught on something. Hanbin stumbled, tripping over a small object in front of him. Before he could register what had happened, he fell backward, landing awkwardly on the rooftop floor. His heart raced, but not from the fall-from the sudden realization of where he was.

Just then, a voice echoed across the rooftop.

"And cut! Retake!"

Hanbin blinked in confusion, his heart still pounding as he tried to process what he just heard. Slowly, he turned his head toward the source of the voice and saw the crew bustling around.

"Yahh, I'm sorry, I'm clumsy, director!" Hanbin called out, shaking off the tension as he sat up.

The director waved him off with a grin. "It's fine, Hanbin-ah. Let's set it up again. You've been doing great so far, just try not to trip this time, okay?"

Hanbin chuckled softly, embarrassed at his blunder. He got up, dusting himself off and turning his attention to the crew, who were resetting the shot. It took him a second to fully come back to reality-the heavy emotions from the scene still lingered in his chest.

As he stretched, trying to shake off the nerves, a familiar voice broke through his thoughts.

"Hanbin-ah! You're so good at acting!"

Hanbin turned to see Hao standing off to the side, smiling as he watched everything unfold from behind the scenes. There was a mischievous glint in his eyes, and he was clapping his hands in mock applause.

"Thanks," Hanbin said with a playful roll of his eyes, feeling his heart lighten at the sight of Hao. "I wouldn't be so good if you weren't such a tough character to follow. It's hard to pretend I hate you, you know?"

Hao laughed, walking over to him. "Well, you better get used to it, because we have a lot of scenes left to shoot. Just don't go falling off rooftops again."

Hanbin grinned, feeling the tension from the earlier scene fade away. He realized how lucky he was, standing here with Hao, alive and well. The scene they were filming-the emotions they portrayed-might have been intense, but in this moment, they were just two actors, sharing a laugh in between takes.

"Alright, let's get back to work," the director called out, signaling for everyone to get in position.

As they prepared for the next take, Hanbin glanced at Hao once more, a soft smile on his face. It was strange how acting out a scene could bring so many emotions to the surface, but at the end of the day, it was just a story. Hao was here, beside him, smiling and teasing him as always.
