I had always been the only girl in the Glade, surrounded by boys who constantly told me I should be a cook because of my gender. But deep down, I knew I was meant for something more. I wanted to be a builder, just like my best friend, Gally.
Gally had always been my protector, standing up for me when the other guys made fun of me for wanting to be a builder. He knew that I had some serious building skills and believed in me more than anyone else in the Glade.
When I finally mustered up the courage to ask Alby and Newt if I could train as a builder, they were both skeptical. They weren't used to having a girl in that role, but Gally stood by my side and convinced them to give me a chance.
On my first day as a builder, I was determined to prove myself. Gally and I worked side by side, constructing walls and floors for new huts around the Glade. I couldn't help but feel proud as I saw the structures take shape under my hands.
As the day went on, the other builders started to take notice of my skills. They were impressed by my determination and work ethic, and even Alby and Newt couldn't deny my talent.
Gally, of course, was my biggest supporter. He would always give me a smile and a nod of approval whenever I completed a task. It meant the world to me to have his faith in my abilities.
As the sun began to set on my first day as a builder, Gally approached me with a grin on his face. "You did great today, Y/N," he said, his voice filled with pride. "I knew you had it in you."
I couldn't help but smile back at him, feeling a rush of gratitude for his unwavering support. "Thanks, Gally," I replied, my heart swelling with happiness. "I couldn't have done it without you by my side."
Gally's smile only grew wider as he reached out to squeeze my shoulder. "Anytime, Y/N. I'll always be here to support you, no matter what."
