             At Raghuvanshi textiles

Ruhi Raghuvanshi was in the middle of a meeting when her phone rang. The sharp ringtone pierced through the tense air, and she instinctively reached for it. Seeing the hospital’s name flashing on the screen, her heart skipped a beat.

Hello?” she answered, her voice tight with worry.

Miss Raghuvanshi, this is City Hospital. Your brother, Devraj, has been brought in. He’s in critical condition,” the voice on the other end said, the words rushing together.

Ruhi felt the world tilt. “What? What happened? Who did this?” she demanded, her voice rising in panic. But the nurse didn’t have any more answers, only that she needed to get there immediately.

As soon as the call ended, Ruhi stood frozen for a moment, trying to process the shock. But her anger flared up quickly. She stormed out of the room, her fingers dialing her secretary's number in a frenzy.

"Find out who did this to my brother! I don’t care what it takes—whoever it is, I will ruin them. They’ll regret the day they crossed Devraj!" she spat, her voice trembling with fury.

Moments later, she was speeding toward the hospital, her mind consumed with one thought: revenge.

Aman's house

Meanwhile, Aman Sharma limped into his home, his sister Aditi supporting him, her eyes wide with fear and concern.
He was badly injured, blood seeping through his shirt from a cut on his arm, his face swollen from the fight.

Their mother rushed toward them as soon as they entered, her face pale with worry.

"Aman! What happened?" she cried, her voice breaking as she looked at her son’s battered state.

Aman winced, sitting down carefully on the couch. "It’s Devraj and his friends… they were harassing Aditi at her college. I couldn’t stand by and do nothing. I went to confront them, and things… got out of hand," he admitted, guilt and anger twisting in his gut.

Aditi looked down, tears brimming in her eyes. “They wouldn’t stop, Maa. They kept saying horrible things, even tried to—” She couldn’t finish the sentence, her voice choking with the weight of what had happened.

Their mother’s face crumpled with shock and heartbreak. “But… Aman, this isn’t the way. Violence isn’t the answer.”

Before Aman could respond, the doorbell rang. The sudden, heavy knocks echoed through the house. He stood up with a groan, only to find police officers at the door. His heart sank.

“Aman Sharma, you’re under arrest for assaulting Devraj Raghuvanshi,” one of the officers said, stepping forward.

Aman’s mother gasped in horror. “No, please! It wasn’t his fault! Those boys—”

But the police didn’t listen. As they grabbed Aman’s arm, his father stepped forward, trying to stop them. In the commotion, one of the officers shoved Aman’s father, making him stumble. He barely caught himself, narrowly avoiding a fall.

Papa!” Aman shouted, his voice cracking with a mixture of anger and desperation as he struggled against the officers.

                       Flashbacks

Back at the hospital, as Ruhi waited in the hallway, pacing, her phone rang again. It was her manager.

"Ma'am, we’ve found out who did it. It was Aman Sharma. He’s the one who attacked your brother," the manager informed her.

Ruhi’s grip tightened on the phone. "Aman Sharma... That bastard!" she hissed. "I won’t let him get away with this."

But the manager hesitated. There was something he hadn’t told her. He knew why Aman had done it, that Devraj had been involved in harassing Aman’s sister, Aditi. But he didn’t tell Ruhi, knowing how much she loved her brother and how blind she was to his faults.

Ruhi was about to destroy a man for trying to protect his sister, but she had no idea of the truth.

At police station

Ruhi Raghuvanshi stood outside the police station, her anger boiling over. Her brother had been attacked, and she believed Aman Sharma was behind it. Her manager had told her about the assault but conveniently left out the part where her brother had harassed Aman’s sister, Aditi. To Ruhi, it seemed like Aman had hurt her brother out of revenge because she had once made  fired him from his company

With this thought fueling her rage, Ruhi stormed into the police station, demanding to see Aman, who had been arrested for the attack.

Inside the jail, Aman sat behind bars, frustration and confusion evident on his face.
He hadn’t expected this outcome at all. The whole situation had been a mess, but he hadn’t attacked Ruhi’s brother out of spite—he had acted in defense of his sister, who had been mistreated.

Ruhi approached the cell, her face filled with cold determination. "
Aman Sharma!" she called out harshly.

Aman looked up, his eyes meeting hers .
Her eyes has so much rage for Aman and Aman is not also showing any guilt for his mistake as he knew he hadn't done anything wrong ..
But he tried to talk as she was misunderstanding him and throwing all the blame on his head

"Ruhi, there’s been a misunderstanding—"

But Ruhi cut him off, her voice seething with anger. "
There’s no misunderstanding. You tried to kill my brother because I got  you fire from ur office
You’re nothing but a vengeful monster. But let me tell you something—you’re finished. You’ll rot in this jail for the rest of your life. I’ll make sure of it."

Aman stood up, gripping the bars of his cell.

"I didn’t hurt your brother for that reason, Ruhi. Your brother harassed my sister—"

"Liar!" Ruhi spat. "My brother did nothing wrong. You attacked him, and you’ll pay for it."

Ruhi ordered the jailer to keep Aman locked up, and soon, he was subjected to harsh treatment under her orders. Days passed, and Aman’s condition worsened.

One day, Aman’s parents, Lalit Sharma and his wife, arrived at the jail to beg for their son’s release. They had heard what Ruhi had been doing, and their hearts were broken. Lalit Sharma had been a driver for Ruhi’s father’s company for years, and now he had to plead for mercy in front of the girl he had watched grow up.

"Ruhi beta, please, our son is innocent," Aman’s mother cried, folding her hands in front of Ruhi. "There’s been a mistake. Please let him go."

Ruhi, however, remained unmoved. She sneered at them, her voice dripping with disdain. "Innocent? Your son is nothing but a criminal. And you—don’t think that just because you work for my father, you can ask for favors. You people are nothing but beggars."

Lalit Sharma bowed his head, his heart heavy with shame. "I’ve served your family for years. Please, don’t punish my son for something he didn’t do."

Ruhi’s eyes flashed with cruelty. "You’re no longer employed, Lalit Sharma. Consider yourself fired. And as for the house you live in, the one you’re renting from us—you have until the end of the week to vacate."

Aman’s mother broke down in tears, and Lalit’s shoulders slumped in defeat. Ruhi turned on her heel, leaving them shattered and hopeless.
