This is the story of two couples whose worlds are separate from each other. But when fate brings them together, let's see how they affect each other.
Jungkook and Jin belong to the wealthiest family in South Korea, while Taehyung and Jimin live in a...
Namjoon’s voice cracked as he looked at his grandmother. “Grandma, let’s talk later. The ambulance is about to arrive, and we need to take Hoseok to the hospital. If you have any compassion, come with us—or stay here. But we can’t wait.”
But Grandma’s eyes were wide with fear, her voice trembling. “No, Namjoon... Don’t take him to the hospital. Take him to the temple. If you don’t, he won’t survive!”
Namjoon blinked, staring at her in disbelief. “What are you talking about, Grandma? Hoseok needs medical treatment, not some temple rituals!” His voice was rising, frustration laced with worry.
Yoongi stepped forward, his expression grim. “This isn’t the time for superstitions. We need to get him to the hospital. Now.”
Namjoon’s patience snapped. “WHAT NONSENSE!” he roared, glaring at her Grandma. “Hoseok needs a doctor, not some ancient superstition!”
But Aunt Min cut in, her voice eerily calm. “What’s this way of talking to your grandmother? She’s only trying to protect your Omega and your unborn child. They’ve been cursed, Namjoon. If you don’t take them to the temple, they might not see tomorrow.”
Aunt Min’s voice didn’t waver. “Hoseok told me himself. He felt strange things happening, and when I asked the temple priest, they confirmed it. There’s a curse on your family, Namjoon. Your ancestors are punishing you.”
Grandma added, her voice quieter but equally insistent. “I tried to tell Seo, but would you have listened if I had told you before?”
Seo looked shocked, her eyes wide. “You should’ve told me! This is...”
Namjoon shook his head, his temper flaring again. “Enough! Let’s get him to the hospital. This temple nonsense is a waste of time.”
Just then, the ambulance arrived, and with Jin’s help, Namjoon carefully loaded Hoseok inside. As the doors were closing, Grandma grabbed Jungkook’s hand.
“Please, Jungkook. For Hoseok and the baby. You have to listen to me. If you don’t...”
Jungkook hesitated, the weight of her plea sinking into him. “Grandma... I...”
Grandma turned to Yoongi, tears streaming down her face. “Son-in-law, please. For the sake of your brother.”
Yoongi’s eyes softened. After a long pause, he nodded. “Alright, Grandma. If it will help, I’ll take them to the temple. Where do we need to go?”
Jungkook stared at Yoongi in disbelief. “What? Hyung will never agree to this!”
Yoongi met his eyes, resolute. “I’m his brother. I have a right to help protect him. Let’s go.”
With that, they all piled into Jungkook’s car, speeding after the ambulance. Yoongi’s gaze was steely as he pulled out a gun, aiming it at the ambulance driver. “Move over,” he ordered coldly, taking the wheel.
The driver, terrified, scrambled aside, and Yoongi took control, steering the ambulance toward the temple. Namjoon’s voice echoed behind him, filled with fury and confusion. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOONGI? HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?”
But Yoongi’s resolve didn’t falter. Ignoring Namjoon’s protests, they sped toward the temple, determined to confront whatever fate awaited them there.
