"Because Of Your Curse"

Jin's phone rang, its sudden sound pulling him out of his thoughts as he hurried toward his room.

"Hello, who is speaking?" he asked, breathless from his sudden movement.

A tense voice replied from the other end, "I'm Lee. Where are you?"

"Lee, is that you? What happened?" Jin's heart raced as he gripped the phone tighter, his senses on high alert.

"Jin, your sister-in-law had a major accident near the highway bridge last night. Where is Yoongi hyung?" Lee's voice was heavy with urgency and worry.

Jin froze, his heart pounding in his chest. His mind couldn't process the words fast enough. He quickly ended the call, a cold sweat forming on his forehead. Without wasting a second, he dialed Yoongi's number, panic surging through him.

"Hyung!" he cried out, his voice barely a whisper, shaking with anxiety.

The call went unanswered. Jin's heart skipped a beat, and he immediately dialed Namjoon, but there was no answer from him either. A sense of dread filled his entire being, and in a panic, he tore off his suit and threw it aside. Without another thought, he grabbed his car keys, running downstairs as fast as he could. Taehyung, noticing the sudden shift in Jin's behavior, felt a knot of confusion and worry twist in his stomach. Even Grandma, sitting nearby, noticed something was terribly wrong and instinctively felt the air thick with unease.

Jin drove through the night, his hands gripping the steering wheel so tightly his knuckles turned white. When he finally reached the accident site, the scene before him was nothing short of catastrophic. He saw Yoongi kneeling on the ground, clutching Seo's lifeless body to him, his sobs echoing through the chaos. The media had already arrived, flashing cameras and asking intrusive questions, but all Jin could focus on was Yoongi's broken heart. His hyung's grief was so raw it felt like the earth itself had split open.

Jin's legs almost gave way beneath him as he watched, paralyzed by the intensity of the pain radiating from Yoongi. He managed to tear his eyes away, forcing himself to move toward his brother. The crowd, however, had other plans. The press surrounded him, bombarding him with questions. Unable to speak, Jin was saved by Lee, who stepped in and pulled him away, guiding him toward Jungkook and Namjoon, who were sitting nearby, devastated.

Namjoon was visibly broken, tears streaking down his face, while Jungkook tried, though helplessly, to console him through his own tears. Jin's heart broke at the sight, but he couldn't leave Yoongi behind. His brother had already been taken away in the ambulance, holding Seo's body, on the way to the hospital.

As they stood there, Officer Han arrived, his expression grim. He briefed them on the details of the accident, his voice tight with urgency.

"Mr. Kim, as far as we know, this is a Hit & Run case. We checked the CCTV footage, and it appears that a truck, speeding at a high velocity, collided directly with the car and then fled the scene in haste."

The words hit Jin like a physical blow. The realization of what had happened sank in. Namjoon, Jungkook, and Jin all shared a moment of stunned silence, unable to fully comprehend the situation.

Jungkook, fury burning in his eyes, spoke in a low, dangerous voice. "So, have you identified the truck driver or not? Catch them as soon as possible and give them the harshest punishment."

Officer Han nodded, his expression serious. "Sir, we are trying our best."

Namjoon, anger and pain evident in his voice, added, "The person who had the accident isn't just an ordinary Omega; he's the current Mayor's Omega and also a Director in KIM'S GROUP. So, keep that in mind."
