Later, Namjoon and Hoseok entered their bedroom, their conversation filled with tension.
"Why are you forcing them into this marriage?" Hoseok asked, anger lacing his voice. "If they don't want to, let them be."
Namjoon barely looked up from his iPad. "What's got you so worked up now?"
"Jungkook and Jin. They're both happy in their lives. They don't need this marriage," Hoseok insisted.
Namjoon's eyes darkened as he glared at Hoseok. "Just shut up. I don't want to hear it anymore. The decision's been made-Jin and Jungkook are getting married next month, and that's final. Understood?"
Seeing Hoseok's defeated expression, Namjoon's tone softened slightly. "Take some rest. You and the baby must be tired. I'll leave for the office in a bit. Take care of yourself."
Hoseok lay down, feeling heavy-hearted after Namjoon's cold dismissal. He sighed, sinking into the pillows, wondering how things had come to this.
A little while later, Namjoon finished getting ready and approached Hoseok, who couldn't help but smile despite his earlier anger. Namjoon kissed him lovingly on the lips. "Please forgive me, honey. I shouldn't have been so angry."
Namjoon sighed, his voice revealing his anxiety. "I'm really worried about this new foreign project. Our competitors are circling, trying to take it from us. Just think-if Jin becomes mayor after the wedding, the profits we could make..."
He continued, his tone growing more ambitious. "And if your brother Yoongi becomes the vice president's contender, no one can stop us."
Hoseok nodded slightly. "Yes, I understand."
Namjoon stood, straightening his tie. "I'm heading straight to Japan from the office. Tell that Shaman to rest and get ready for this evening. Jungkook can assist her with whatever she needs."
He kissed Hoseok again. "Bye, take care."
After Namjoon left, Hoseok stared at the door, his thoughts swirling. Namjoon's appearance hadn't changed, but the man he had once known felt distant, driven by ambition rather than love.
Tears welled up in his eyes as he whispered to the empty room, "You still look the same, but you've changed so much. Please, come back to me, Namjoon. Love me like you used to..."
In the calm of Seo and Yoongi's bedroom, Yoongi emerged from the bathroom, his skin still damp and his hair tousled. He was about to reach for his clothes when suddenly, Seo wrapped her arms around him from behind, resting her cheek against his back.
"What happened, baby? Are you worried about something?" Seo's voice was soft, filled with concern as she held him tighter.
Yoongi let out a deep sigh, running a hand through his wet hair. "Yes... I'm worried about Jin. He left so abruptly today, and he seemed really upset. I don't know what's going on with him, but something's not right."
Seo gently pulled away, moving in front of Yoongi to face him. She cupped his face with both hands, looking deeply into his eyes. "Don't worry. Everything will be fine, love. I'll talk to Jungkook and ask him to find out what's bothering Jin."
Her gentle smile and calm reassurance made Yoongi's tense shoulders relax slightly. She leaned forward, kissing him tenderly. "I love you so much, my Alpha."
In response, Yoongi's voice dropped to a husky whisper, filled with warmth. "I love you too, my beautiful Omega." He kissed her back, their lips meeting in a deep, affectionate embrace. Without another word, he scooped Seo into his arms, carrying her effortlessly to the bed. Their worries faded away as they gave themselves to their love, savoring the moment of intimacy.
