As Jungkook stood gazing out at the lake, mesmerized by the beautiful omega he had just seen, he whispered to himself, “How beautiful she is. I’ve never seen an omega like her before.” His voice was soft, as though speaking too loudly would shatter the fragile dreamlike moment.

Just then, Namjoon entered the room, breaking Jungkook’s trance. “We’re not here for a vacation, Jungkook,” Namjoon said in a stern voice, his brow furrowed with concern. “As soon as we’re done with what we came for, we need to leave quickly.”

Jungkook turned to face his older brother, a playful grin spreading across his face. “Sure, hyung. Don’t worry, everything will be done as quickly as possible,” he replied, his tone lighter, but he couldn’t shake the thought of the omega from his mind.

Namjoon gave him a nod of approval before leaving the room. As Jungkook turned back toward the lake, his heart sank when he realized the omega had disappeared. He scanned the waters and the shoreline frantically. “Where did that omega go? Did she leave?” he mumbled to himself, searching for any trace of her. His eyes narrowed with a smirk as he concluded, “She must be from this village. I’ll find her again.”

Before he could dwell any longer, the old grandmother called everyone to come to the prayer room after bathing. Reluctantly tearing himself away from the balcony, Jungkook rejoined the group, though he and Jin decided to stay behind for a moment, both claiming they needed a bit of rest before joining the others.

Meanwhile, Namjoon, Hoseok, Yoongi, and Seo made their way to the prayer room. As they entered the dimly lit temple, they found the shaman seated cross-legged, deep in meditation, her hands moving rhythmically as she performed a prayer.

The priest stepped forward and spoke respectfully, “Listen, ma'am, these people have come from far away and are in distress. Can you help them?”

The shaman opened her eyes and slowly turned her head, her voice soft and humble as she replied, “Alright, tell me what trouble you’re facing.”

Everyone exchanged uneasy glances, hesitant to speak. Finally, Hoseok, his voice trembling, broke the silence. “I’ve been feeling someone’s presence around me constantly for the past few days, and yesterday... I couldn’t understand what was happening,” he admitted nervously.

The shaman’s gaze softened with understanding. “Show me your hand,” she instructed. “I want to see it.”

Hoseok extended his trembling hand, and the shaman gently took it, closing her eyes to concentrate. For a few moments, silence filled the room as the shaman’s mind delved into visions of the past.

A flash of light. The memory took her to the moment before the party. Hoseok stood in the dressing room, his face filled with joy as he thought about his unborn child. But something shifted—his happiness was interrupted by a cold presence in the room. Hoseok’s body tensed, his senses screaming that he wasn’t alone. He looked around nervously, feeling a negative energy surrounding him. Then, a voice—low, menacing—called from the mirror. Hoseok turned, his heart racing, only to find nothing there. Suddenly, the room’s lights flickered, and a ghostly figure appeared in front of him.

Hoseok’s terrified cry echoed as he tried to run, but before he could move, blood began to drip from his private part. The fear was paralyzing.

The shaman’s eyes flew open as the vision ended. She studied Hoseok’s pale face, then turned to Namjoon. “I need to speak to your husband,” she said solemnly.

Hoseok gestured for Namjoon to come closer. Namjoon sat in front of the shaman, concern written all over his face.

“Since when did your husband start experiencing this problem? Do you have any idea?” the shaman asked, her tone direct.
