The Days slipped by like sand through Jin's fingers, leaving no trace of Taehyung or Jimin. Despite his best efforts to find them, Daedunsan offered no clues, and Jin's search remained fruitless.

Meanwhile, justice caught up with Yea-So, who was sentenced to prison for attempting to murder Seo, trying to kill Jin, and fraudulently transferring KIM'S Company shares to his name. With his arrest, the KIM Mansion and the company returned to Namjoon and Jungkook's control, reinstating their family's legacy. Yea-Ji, upon learning of her brother's downfall, fled the country. Their uncle, consumed by guilt, confessed his role in aiding Yea-So and faced imprisonment as well.

Namjoon assumed the role of Chairman of KIM'S GROUP, with Jungkook stepping in as Head Director. Jin, now the Director, buried himself in work, moving back into his penthouse and devoting every waking moment to his career.

Jungkook's guilt grew heavier by the day, the harsh words he had spoken to Jimin haunting him. The emptiness left by Jimin's absence gnawed at his heart, his longing intensifying with each passing moment. Jimin's laughter, his gentle voice, and his shy demeanor replayed endlessly in Jungkook's mind, tormenting him with memories he couldn't escape.

When the rainy season arrived, Jin's health took a sudden turn. Returning home from the office, a sharp headache overtook him. Barely able to think, he instructed his driver to take him directly to the hospital.

After a thorough checkup, the doctor entered Jin's ward with a grave expression.

"Mr. Kim Jin," the doctor began hesitantly, sitting beside him. "I'm sorry to say that your condition has reached its final stage. You have, at most, some days left. Please inform your family so they can prepare."

Jin's lips curved into a faint, hollow smile, masking the devastation within.

"Mr. Jin, this isn't something you can face alone," the doctor urged. "As time passes, you'll experience severe headaches and may even faint. Consider being admitted to the hospital. Working in this condition is inadvisable."

"I'll manage," Jin replied softly. "If it gets worse, I'll come back. For now, just give me the medication. And please, don't inform my family. I'll tell them myself."

The doctor reluctantly agreed, handing him the prescription.

Back at his penthouse, Jin barely made it through the door before collapsing onto the floor, tears streaming down his face. The memories of his past surged forward, mingling with the crushing weight of his diagnosis.

"Tae..." he choked out between sobs, his voice breaking. "Please come back to me. I need you... I'm dying, I'm in pain. I need your support."

His cries echoed through the empty apartment, raw and desperate. "I'm not angry with you. Just come back to me... Before I die, just hug me once."

Exhaustion overtook him, and Jin fainted where he lay. Hours later, he regained consciousness, groggy and disoriented. Leaning against the wall for support, he made his way to the sofa, gulping down water in an attempt to calm himself.

The next morning, Jin received an urgent call from Namjoon. "There's a situation in Jeju Island," Namjoon explained. "Jin, you need to leave immediately. The protests against our new project have become violent. Jungkook will accompany you; it's not safe to go alone."

Though hesitant, Jin agreed. Together, he and Jungkook boarded a flight to the city near Jeju, followed by a boat ride to the island. By the time they arrived, night had fallen, and fatigue weighed heavily on Jin. He didn't let it show, silently enduring his worsening condition.
