The group remains frozen, still listening intently, straining their ears to catch the slightest noise that might confirm Chef’s warning. The tension is palpable. Axel is already in a fighting stance, her eyes scanning the surrounding forest, ready to react at a moment’s notice. Her breathing is steady, but the rest of the group is far less composed. Everyone is on edge.

Suddenly, Damien’s eyes widen, and his breath catches in his throat. He sees something—a shadow moving swiftly through the trees, weaving between the branches and bushes, far too tall to be any four-legged animal. "Eek!" He lets out a startled squeak and instinctively backs further into the group, bumping into Caleb.

"What happened?" Bowie whispers sharply, noticing Damien’s sudden shift in demeanor. His voice is barely audible, but the anxiety in his tone is undeniable.

Damien, still visibly shaken, points toward the trees where he saw the shadow. But now… it’s gone. Nothing but stillness. Just trees and bushes swaying slightly in the breeze. Bowie furrows his brow, his suspicion rising. "You sure you saw—"

He doesn’t get to finish. Everyone starts seeing it now. First Wayne, then Caleb, and then Axel, who tightens her grip on the small  pocket-knife she’s brought for protection. It’s not just a trick of the light. There’s a shadow, a silhouette, moving at insane speeds all around them. It darts between trees, zigzagging, circling them, getting faster and faster.

It’s toying with them.

"Uh… is anyone else seeing that?" Wayne mutters nervously, his eyes wide and his voice shaky.

No one responds. Everyone is locked in place, eyes darting left and right, trying to follow the shadow’s movements, but it’s too fast. It has them cornered. The air feels thick with fear, the pressure mounting with every passing second. Chef tightens his grip on the machete he brought, looking for a break in the chaos, ready to spring into action.

The camera pans around the group, capturing their wide eyes, the mix of terror and anticipation on their faces. Bowie grips Wayne’s arm tightly, while Julia clenches her fists, trembling. Damien, barely holding it together, feels like the walls are closing in.
