The episode opens with Chef driving Axel, Wayne, Julia, and Damien to the hospital to check on Raj. It’s been a night since the ambulance took Raj, and Bowie had texted Julia to say he was staying with him. Caleb, meanwhile, stayed back at Chef's to keep an eye on MK.

When the group arrives, they’re forced to wait in the hospital lobby for over an hour. The scene cuts to Chef’s house, where Caleb is trying to make conversation with MK, who stays silent. Caleb finally asks, “What if I untie you?” MK’s head perks up. Caleb sighs, carefully locking all the doors and windows before going behind her to untie her hands. He imagines he could overpower her if an ambush occurred, hopefully.. Her wrists are red, and it’s clear the ropes had been cutting off her circulation. Caleb steps back, prepared for an attack, but MK simply rubs her wrists and then sits on Chef’s deep red couch, staring at the wall. Caleb stands there, confused, thinking to himself, Maybe she doesn’t remember English? No… that’s ridiculous. She understands what I’m saying.

Back at the hospital, Wayne, Damien, Axel, and Julia enter Raj's hospital room to find him unconscious in bed, with Bowie sitting nearby. Bowie stands as they enter, managing a small smile. “Hey, guys.”

“Is… is he okay?” Wayne asks, tears in his eyes.

Bowie shakes his head. “I dunno. They did a scan last night but haven’t shown the results yet.” He sighs, and the others look uncomfortable, exchanging glances.

“Where’s Caleb and Chef?” Bowie asks, realizing he hasn’t seen either of the two.

“Chef's out there, signing some forms or something,” Axel replies, pointing toward the door.

Damien adds, “Caleb stayed back at Chef’s place.”

Bowie raises an eyebrow, prompting Julia to quickly explain, “He’s watching over MK.”

Chef then joins them, and they all sit around Raj’s bed, talking and waiting. Half an hour later, a female doctor with long light brown hair enters with a clipboard. She scans the room, noting how many people are present before delivering the news without preamble. “The results are back. There’s a shadow near the brain, likely from brain damage caused by a high fall or an untreated head injury over a long period.” The group exchanges shocked looks.

The doctor then focuses on Bowie. “I’m not sure how an injury like this went untreated for so long, but I’m afraid… it’s too late. He won’t make it through the night. I’m sorry it’s me who had to inform you.” She leaves quietly, closing the door behind her.

Bowie sits in stunned silence. Chef and Axel share a look of disbelief, Julia covers her mouth with her hand, and Damien leans forward, eyes squeezed shut. Wayne collapses onto the floor, sobbing loudly and screaming, his grief echoing through the room. Axel tries to console him, but he remains inconsolable, eventually lying quietly on the cold floor, crying. Bowie, too, is crying, as are the others—even Chef sheds a tear.

After several minutes, a blonde male doctor enters, softly informing them, “It’s time to say goodbye.”

One by one, they each say a heartfelt goodbye to Raj. Wayne, in tears, says, “How will I ever play hockey without you, Rajie? You can’t just leave me like this, bro… I love you, man. Bye.” Sobbing, he leaves the room. Bowie is the last to say goodbye. He hugs Raj’s still resting body, pressing a kiss to his cheek, his tears falling onto Raj’s shoulder. “I love you, Raj. I’ll think of you every day. Goodbye.” He whispers, then, wiping his tears, leaves the room with his head down.

Bowie is sad, for obvious reasons. Although, he does feel a sense of relief, he's happy. When Raj had first disappeared, Bowie would cry all night every night. He wouldn't sleep, he struggled with his own emotions, it was insane to him how Raj was just taken from him like that. So sudden, yet there was nothing he could do about it. The thing Bowie could never quite get past was the fact he never even got a simple goodbye. Raj was gone, no goodbye, nothing, Bowie's last moments with Raj were horrid, he'd always wished he could get his proper goodbye. And now he just has, he has finally said his fairwell to his love. The time spent with Raj as of the past-nearly-two years hasn't been the greatest, y'know it hasn't been the happiest. But atleast now, after everything, he can finally wish a heartfelt fairwell to his one and only. Goodbye Raj, I'll love you for as long as I breathe, I won't ever forget you, I promise it. Bowie just knows he'll replay his final goodbye in his head everytime he tries to drift off into slumber late at night. Perhaps that a good thing, Raj will live on forever in the confines of Bowie's mind, never to be forgotten.

The car ride back is silent. When they arrive at Chef’s house, Axel is the first inside. She freezes upon seeing an untied MK sitting across from Caleb on the couch, calmly listening to him speak.

“Why is she untied?!” Axel shouts, a hint of fear in her voice. Startled by the noise, MK bolts down the hallway, disappearing into another room.

“You scared her,” Caleb mutters, shooting Axel a look.

Axel stares back, dumbfounded. “Scared?! Why is she untied?” she yells.

Suddenly, there’s a loud SMASH. The group rushes down the beige hallway and finds a window shattered in the last room, glass littering the floor. MK is gone. Before anyone can process what’s happened, Damien speaks up, his voice hollow. “Raj is dead,” he says, meeting Caleb’s gaze. The colour begins to drains from Caleb’s face.
