Revenge of the Island

The episode begins in Chef's simple plain living room, where everyone is gathered to celebrate their successful mission. They’re enjoying food and drinks, laughing and chatting, feeling a rare sense of relief after returning from the island. MK, though, remains tied to Chef’s front door handle, making loud noises as she tries to break free. Chef attempts to offer MK some water or food, but she responds by kicking him in the stomach.

As the group continues to enjoy the moment, Caleb notices Raj, who seems distant and out of it, staring off into his own little world. Caleb chuckles and asks, "You good, man?" snapping Raj out of his thoughts. Raj answers, "Yep. All good, man," but then suddenly slumps over and falls off his seat. Axel immediately jumps up, alarmed, with a quick, "What the fuck?" Bowie rushes to Raj's side, kneeling down and shaking him, trying to wake him up, but there’s no response. Chef quickly pulls out his phone and calls for an ambulance.

The group had hoped it wouldn’t come to this, aware that involving medical help might mean facing the authorities. They all know the risks of being found out since visiting the island has been illegal for over a year. But with Raj’s condition worsening, they know they don’t have a choice. Caleb, meanwhile, acts fast, grabbing MK and hiding her in a nearby cupboard to avoid any uncomfortable questions from medical personnel about why there’s a feral-looking girl tied up in Chef's house. Not suspicious at all.

The scene flashes back to the ride home. Axel and Julia are sitting together, talking about Julia’s chilling sighting of Lauren in the forest as they left the island. "Woah, that’s creepy as shit," Axel says in response. Their conversation drifts to MK. Julia remarks on MK’s changed appearance, "You weren’t wrong about MK’s looks; she sure has changed…” Axel finds it odd, pointing out MK’s new clothes, fresh haircut, and overall transformation, especially given she never left the island. Julia just looks down and shakes her head, not sure what to make of it. Julia then looks up to face Axel, "Since we're on the topic of MK's looks, didn't think to tell us about that height change?" Julia says it jokingly, with a raised eyebrow. "C'mon! She was swinging down on a vine! How was I meant to catch that?" Axel responds, lightly laughing. "The growth is crazy," Julia says, laughing back, "Yeah, I was pretty shocked when you, Damien, and Caleb walked back after trapping her. In my head I was like: that is not the midget I once knew-" now Axel and Julia are both collectively laughing, "No, but seriously! How'd she just grow like that?" Julia manages to say, although barely being able to contain her laughter. Axel just laughs even harder, "You're acting as if people can't fucking grow!" she says, wiping tears at this point.

The two share a genuine laugh, surprised at each other’s softer sides. For Axel, it's surprising to see Julia, usually the ‘mean girl,’ laughing. For Julia, seeing tough Axel like this is a surprise too, showing how the group is slowly growing closer.

The flashback ends, and the ambulance arrives, taking Raj away on a stretcher, with Bowie riding in the back, visibly distraught and even crying—something the group has never seen him do before. The sight is a shock for everyone, showing how much Raj means to him. The episode closes on this emotional moment, with Bowie’s quiet tears marking a poignant end to the celebration, reminding everyone just how high the stakes still are. Even off the island.
