Episode 7: Game Over

Confessional - Bowie:
"Ugh, it's disgusting in here! So overgrown... I don't know if this camera still works, but I'm relieved. I'm glad I'm not the one being eliminated."

Bowie steps out of the confessional, shivering as he glances back at Zee's lifeless skeleton, the sight too much for him to process. He hurries away, not wanting to linger any longer in such a haunting spot. The camera then cuts to Caleb, who’s hunched over a bush, vomiting violently. He wipes his mouth, standing straight with his eyes squeezed shut. Why did he vomit? A chilling realization washes over him as Scary Girl’s voice echoes over the intercom.

“Caleb has found Ripper! Caleb is safe from elimination!”

Caleb shakes his head, clearly disturbed. The camera pans behind him, revealing Ripper’s decayed skeleton sprawled across the rough grassy floor. Caleb walks away, leaving the scene, and the tension now mounts—it’s only Chef, Julia, and Wayne left... or is it?

The screen shifts to Chef, who jumps back, his machete raised defensively. Scary Girl drops down from the treetops, landing gracefully in front of him.

“Don’t fret, Chef! You aren’t one of the contestants,” she reassures him, her voice almost mocking.

Chef lets out a sigh of relief, if only for a brief moment. The realization hits him like a truck—it’s now down to Wayne and Julia. He looks at Scary Girl, concern filling his voice as he asks, “What happens when someone’s eliminated?”

Chef isn't afraid of this teenage girl, but he knows Lauren’s strength. His worry isn’t for himself—it’s for the kids. He fears what elimination could mean for Wayne or Julia.

“Oh, Chef, don’t be so impatient!” Scary Girl says with a giggle, her words laced with malice. “You’ll just have to wait and see.” She climbs back up into a tall, thick tree, disappearing into the canopy above, her cryptic laughter lingering in the air.

The scene transitions to Julia, walking through the forest. She’s tired, exhausted from both the physical toll and the mental strain. She takes a quick break, sitting on a log to catch her breath. Suddenly, her eyes widen, and a look of realization crosses her face—Millie! Millie was the first to die, and Julia remembers exactly where her body lies. Her exhaustion momentarily forgotten, she sprints, fear pushing her forward. She’s scared Wayne may have the same idea.

We cut to Wayne, who mutters Millie’s name under his breath before turning and running in the opposite direction he had been heading. Both of them, racing toward Millie’s resting place, the tension crackling in the air. But Wayne is too far away—he won't make it in time.

Julia reaches Millie’s remains just as Scary Girl’s voice booms across the island once again.

“Julia has found Millie! Wayne is eliminated!” Scary Girl announces, her voice dripping with fake sympathy. She lets out a high-pitched laugh, clearly enjoying the twisted game.

The scene cuts to Axel, who stands frozen, her pupils dilated in shock. She remembers where Millie’s body was as well, but her mind is racing for a different reason. She was never close to Wayne—they barely exchanged more than a few words during their time on the island—but fear for what Scary Girl's idea of elimination might be consumes her. She bolts into a sprint, determined to stop whatever's about to happen.

Axel reaches the scene just in time. Scary Girl is in mid-leap, her hands outstretched, ready to pounce on Wayne. Without thinking, Axel throws herself at him, tackling Wayne out of the way. Scary Girl stumbles but quickly recovers, her laughter rising again as Caleb comes out of nowhere, grabbing her from behind and holding her back.

Now everyone is there—Axel, Caleb, Julia, Bowie, Damien, and even Chef, watching with wide eyes as the chaotic scene unfolds.

“Aww, you guys are no fun!” Scary Girl whines, clearly frustrated that her ‘elimination’ was thwarted.

But little do they know, all the noise from the intercom, all the commotion... has awoken something.

Someone.
