From his warm bed, he stares out the window as the sun begins to shine on the balcony. The light of day bringing back darkness covered memories of the night before. The comfort of laying beside his Cups and just knowing she was safe. Shattered by the fear while driving back to the fun house after taking her back to Grove street wondering if anything would ever be the same. The words she spoke so confidently to him with his inability to be confident in regards to her, finds a residence within his mind. "What are you waiting for?"

I don't even yuckin' know anymore. I don't know if I'm waiting on, but I know, I can't wait on her. She is not her yuckin' self, and who knows maybe it'll bring her around. Maybe I can make it better.... I've got to at least try.

He swings his legs over the side of the bed. Reaches for his phone. Outgoing text Sooty...

Ray Mond stares at the ceiling, sleepy eyes finally focusing on the strange shadows on the ceiling and her ears focusing on the noise coming from upstairs in the gworls house.

"Max?"

"Oh, Hey Ray! I'm sorry, did I wake you? I didn't even know you were home!"

:You woke me up but it's okay, yeah Chatty brought me home last night I decided I needed to be away from him for a while. What exactly are you doing up there!?"

"Well we seem to have a bit of a water leak, and so I am currently trying to fix it before It gets any worse."

Just as the words left Max's mouth a drop of water falls onto Ray's head.

Oh fuck, I better get up from here, this whole thing could go complete wrong.

"Well is it working?.... Max?!

"Not particularly well, but I've got someone coming out later to fix it."

"Well could you possibly take me to the clothing store? I heard the other day we got some new things and I would like to check them out if you have time?!"

"No problem, Let me run down to City Hall and grab my car. Where is your car? Isn't it normally parked out here?"

"It's at the fun house that's the last place I left it and Chatty had dropped me off.,,"

"Oh, I see."

She patiently waits pacing around the living room for Max to go and get his car she pulls her phone out of her pocket,

Outgoing text: Hey! I'm awake, Lemme know when you wake up! <3

Beep of the car unlock
Max gets into his car at City hall as his phone rings.

Incoming Call: Sooty

"Hey Sooty, it's your boy Max."

"Hi Hi Max, um so has Chatty Called you?"

"Um, not today? Should he have? Has something gone wrong?"

"Oh no, not at all. Just making sure you were aware of the plan for today."

"Oh yes, absolutely, but we may have a slight problem."

"Uh oh, What's the problem, let me head this off now so we don't have a panicked Chatty trying to burn down the whole city!"

"Well she said something about wanting to go to the clothing store..and I don't really know the timeline we're looking at for everything. So I just need to make sure everyones on board with everything.

"Oo Yeah, that's probably something I should definitely give him a heads up on."

"Yeah I thought so too, I was supposed to take her to go shopping but she just texted and apparently she's going shopping with Taco"

"Okay not a problem, thank you for letting me know so I can make sure that this goes off the right way. I don't want him to be heart broken,"

"Of course not, I appreciate you delivering the news, He doesn't know me that well."

"Yep yep. I'll call soon. I'm going to call him and let him know what's happening. Or what's going to take longer than what he expected."
