And also, these things actually happened a few months ago and I know it's boring but I write my deep stuff in free verse so don't complain.

And ig this is part 2 of 'tide' bc it's about the same person.

it's two months past my birthday

it's her birthday in a month

i heard all about

you two together

without me

a week after my birthday

YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTRY.

HOW COULD YOU????

you'll give her the world on her birthday

i get ghosted on mine

I don't want it to be soon anymore.

Edit (06/11/24): okay, it's official. They forgot my birthday and remembered hers. 

(this is two months after I wrote the poem above btw)

So basically, earlier today, I was on the way to a diner with them and the girl and they were like 'It was [name(her)]'s birthday a few weeks ago. She's [age] now!'

And I was like 'do I not exist anymore... am I not the only other person in the car so therefore you're talking to me... BUT DO I NOT HAPPEN TO HAVE A FXCKING BIRTHDAY?? HOW CAN YOU FORGET MY BIRTHDAY? WAS MY BIRTH NOT IMPORTANT TO YOU?'

but of course I didn't say that out loud because I'm the quiet and useless one and she's the talented one. And the worst thing is, I think my birth WASN'T important to them. I wish I could remember.

And the other thing is, I CAN'T hate her because she respects me so much. And I secretly want her to hate me or there's some problem with her so that there's some logical reason that I can actually TRY to convince myself to hate her. But there isn't because she's actually the sweetest person ever in existence T-T

And they're gonna get so mad at me and take her side if I lie and tell them I don't like her. I wouldn't tell them anyway, though, because I hate them so much.

yay my life is amazing :3 🙄

...but what can I say? I'm a bad person.
