I honestly didn't really feel like publishing this one but then I realised I sent it into a group chat so they've probably seen it already so I'll just publish it :3
Tell me you want to forget me.
Your words, so sweet and innocent, engulf me entirely. Your happiness is contagious, it makes me want to sing along with you.
Tell me you want to forget me.
Do something wrong so I can shift the blame onto you. Stare at the flames until you've experienced, as well, what pain feels like.
Tell me you want to forget me.
I wish your fingers spin webs of lies instead of wisps of golden silk. I wish your voice sounds like a demonic growl instead of a gentle angelic melody.
Tell me you want to forget me.
You know all too well what kind of a person I am. I know all too well what kind of a person you are. Leave, and I'll let you. Stay, and I'll drag you down with me.
Tell me you want to forget me.
You know I'm the sort of person who burns everything they touch. Come any closer, and I might hurt you. Beyond that, and I'll kill you. That's just how it goes.
Tell me you want to forget me.
Because I CAN'T forget you. I love the days when you're here with me. I hate the days you're not.
Tell me you want to forget me.
And maybe, just maybe, I'll learn how to forget myself too.
