The next day, Megha quietly went to the office, but her mind was far from her work; it was completely occupied with thoughts of Dev. She was reminiscing about memories from 15 years ago.

15 years back...

"Dev, don't you understand that you don't want to? You do not study and never let anyone else read. Go outside the class!" Mr. Prasad, their class teacher, said and sent Dev out of the class. That day, Dev was outside for a full two periods, and Megha's attention was hardly on her studies; her gaze was only on Dev. That day, Dev and Megha had their longest eye contact.

Megha was smiling to and then Janvi said, "Why are you smiling so much? Did you meet someone?"

"No, it's nothing!" Megha replied, a light blush creeping onto her cheeks. 

"Sab samjhte hain behen."Janvi said

Just then, Harshvardhan called.

"Hello, yes," Janvi said.

"Hey, who are you following on Instagram and liking their posts? Remember, you belong to me. If you do, I swear I'll make your life hell!" Harshvardhan said, his tone harsh.

"But he's just my school friend," Janvi replied, a hint of confusion in her voice.

"That doesn't matter. Just listen to me. If you keep doing like this, you will see my worst  Harshvardhan said, his voice leaving no room for argument.

Janvi's face fell as if she was about to cry. Megha couldn't bear to see Janvi upset and said, "What happened, Janvi? Why does your face look so gloomy? You used to be so happy talking to Harshvardhan; what happened now?"

"Nothing, yaar. We just fought," Janvi said, forcing a smile but failing to hide her distress.

"Oh, okay," Megha replied, her concern deepening.

Meanwhile, Dev was talking to Abhay.

"Dude, you're becoming such a loser. You can't even find a girlfriend," Dev said, a teasing grin on his face.

"Well, what about you?" Abhay replied, raising an eyebrow.

"I haven't found anyone but you had someone, but now you don't seem interested in moving forward. It's disheartening to see your sad face, maybe you should get a girlfriend," Dev said, a playful smirk forming.

"Okay, fine. You first get a girlfriend, then I'll look for mine," Abhay replied with a chuckle.

With that, both Dev and Abhay got back to their work, while Megha and Janvi did the same.

Soon, it was night again, and once more, Dev took Megha home in his car. On the way, he asked, "Hey Megha, have you really forgotten me?" He chuckled lightly, trying to lighten the mood.

"What do you mean, sir?" Megha asked, surprised.

"Do you really not remember who Dev Sharma is, or are you just pretending?" Dev asked, his playful tone evident.

"You're the CEO, that's all," Megha replied, a little nervous yet curious.

"Come on, I'm Dev, How can your memory be so weak? I was in your class in DAV school!" Dev said, laughing.

"Oh, sir, I completely forgot," Megha said, biting her lip as a smile spread across her face.

As they arrived at her home, just as Megha was getting out, Dev said, "Actually, I have movie tickets. Abhay and I planned to go together, but he can't make it. So, can you come with me, if you don't mind?" He looked at her with a hopeful glint in his eyes.

"Okay, sir, no problem. By the way, which movie are we watching?" Megha asked, intrigued.

"Badi Galti Ho Gayi," Dev replied 

"Oh, I wanted to watch that movie for a while!" Megha exclaimed happily, her eyes sparkling.

"Alright then, tomorrow at 5 PM," Dev said, a grin on his face.

"But we have work tomorrow," Megha reminded him, a mock frown forming.

"Tomorrow is Sunday," Dev said with a laugh.

"Oh, okay, sir," Megha replied, her heart racing with excitement.

And then Megha went home. Even when she got home, she couldn't sleep; she kept looking at Dev's profile.

The next day, Megha received a message: "Ready, Megha?"

"Yes, sir," Megha replied, her pulse quickening.

And then Megha went with Dev in his car to the movie. The movie began, and they watched it together.

"Umm, popcorn?" Dev asked, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Yes, sir, please get some," Megha replied shyly, her cheeks warming.

They enjoyed the movie together. It was so funny that they both started laughing loudly, the sound of their laughter echoing in the theatre. Slowly, they got closer without even realizing it, and Dev lost his control, leaning in to kiss her.
