JUNO
" you make me wanna make you
fall in love ! "
SHORT N SWEET . sabrina carpenter

THE KITCHEN TO THE buxbaum family home was silent besides the noise of the music playing from callie's airpods. she had a playlist full of sabrina carpenter playing, she was attempting to learn all the words to her new album before her concert in a few weeks that she planned on going to.

humming along to the beat of her favorite song off the album, "juno" callie mixed together some of her favorite fruits into a glass container as her breakfast. adding a few more green crunchy grapes, she clicked the lid on and shook it a few times making sure everything mixed together nicely.

she heard a car door shut down near her driveway. unbothered, she didn't look up, assuming it was just an amazon driver delivering a package of hers that she had forgotten she ordered.

after slinging her backpack over her shoulder and sliding on her shoes, almost skipping out the door as the upbeat music filled her ears.

her happiness was quickly destroyed when she saw the one person she hated the most, leaning up against her car.

chris sturniolo, of all people, was standing at the head of her car with a smirk plastered on his face. that stupid smirk.
"what do you want, chris?" callie angrily mumbled to him, attempting to stay calm and not freak out as she stomped over to him.

"i mean i can't just stay silent after i got a parking ticket from thee caroline buxbaum, can i?" he laughed, pulling the toothpick out from between his grinning lips.

she instantly knew what he was talking about. just a few days earlier, callie had noticed that chris had left his car in the same parking spot or otherwise know as "the spot" for over three days, which meant she could call the station and it would get him a ticket.

the two had been fighting over the perfect parking spot in front of their house since they could drive and every morning chris made if his mission to get the parking spot.

chris stepd forward, away from the car and closer to callie. the two are so close that callie is sure he can hear her music. he stood over her for a few more seconds, taking one of the strawberries in her container and smiling down at her then walked away.
