It was a Sunday morning in the pale grey hospital. The sun woke up and had rays of light peek through the pale white curtains. Along the ledge were numerous get well cards for a certain 16 year old girl. The old white haired lady in white pants, a floral blouse, a cherry pink sweater and some white shoes glanced over to the dark brown haired girl lying in the bed. Her hand had a white cast over it, along with some names of friends who came by to see if she was awake. The old lady carefully watched the girl until the door opened.

A fairly tall girl with ivy green eyes and dark blonde with fading pink streaks in her hair entered the room.

"Nana you're still here?!? You should rest, i'll take it from here." The 15 year old said as she helped her nana up.

"No no, I'll rest after lunch. Did you eat breakfast yet? You should cause you know how your sister is about you skipping your meals." Nana warned with her raspy voice.

"Ok, but I'll eat when you eat so you don't get lonely." The girl responded as she got out her wallet.

"Thank you dear." Nana said as she fixed the strand of hair in the girls face.

As the blonde walked out, nana went back to focusing on the one who really needs to eat.

"When you wake up, we could go to that fancy restaurant you've always liked, and poke fun at that French waiter."

Nana giggled.

Five minutes later the dark blonde appeared with a tray of oatmeal, brown sugar, a side of mixed berries, honey, and two cups of green tea.

During the meal the dark blonde asked "Nana, what if she doesn't wake up?"

"She will Taylor, don't worry. She'll be back. She always comes back." Nana replied as she dumped more berries in her oatmeal.

Taylor missed her sister. She missed her sister's smile, her laugh, her words of comfort, and her warm hugs.

A tear came out of the corner of her eye.

"Maybe if I wasn't an awful child she wouldn't be here." Taylor sobbed.

"No that's not true. We both know she wasn't angry at you before the accident. Even though you gave her a hard time, she still loved you. She wasn't angry at you. She was angry at that wicked stepmothers actions and how they came over you to do something like that." Nana reassured as she wiped Taylor's tears away.

"Yea you're right. Thanks Nana." Taylor said as she smiled.

After breakfast nana went home to rest. Taylor stayed behind to watch over her sister until someone knocked on the door.

"Come in." She said.

A tall brown haired boy came into the room.

"She's not up yet." Taylor said recognizing the footsteps.

"I know. I thought it would be best if I came when she wasn't up." The tall hazel eyed teen said as he took a step closer to the bed.

"Yea well it would be best if you left." Taylor hissed.

"Look I'm sorry, to you, to your nana, to Casey, and to her most of all." He said as tears brimmed his eyes.

"Apology not accepted. If you have the balls to come here when she's awake, then I'll accept your apology." Taylor said as she gave him a disgusted look.

"I will. I promise." He said.

"Don't promise. Just do it. Now get out of here before I have to call Nick on you. He still hasn't forgiven you either." Taylor said as she pointed to the door.

And within seconds the tall boy was out the door.

Taylor moved the chair closer to the bed. She touched her sisters dark brown hair.

"Wake up Emily. It's been three months."
