"I don't want you to need me Nimrat. Not now , not ever. But the thing which you should know is that I need you.

"Today , tomorrow and for the rest of my life"

Starring at the moon through the window while standing in the dark kitchen , Nimrat's eyes flared up in frustration as her grip tightened around the steel glass. Yuvaan's words from morning kept ringing in her mind , making her more frustrated with each passing second. The shivers which would erupt every time she recalled his words made it more worse for her.

She couldn't understand him. He was the one who blamed her. He was the one who didn't accept her as his wife. He was the one who left her.

And now after everything, how could he act like nothing have happened? Why can't he just ignore her the way he did all those years? The time when she was desperate for his one single glimpse. The time where she just wanted his presence near her , even if it was for some moments. He wasn't there. He never was.

Than why now? Her all plans of keeping her distance from him were going in vain. And the goosebumps and shivers his presence gave her everytime he was near her was making it all more worse.

"How can he say all those things so easily?" Nimrat murmured to herself as she opened the fridge.

"Pagal aadmi" she continued while pouring the water in the glass. Her eyes in nothing at particular as a sigh left from her lips.

"I have been managing it all alone from a very long time and I can do it for the rest of my life as well.

"I don't want you to do anything for me"

The lonely silence surrounded the room as the dim moonlight scattered across the dark room. In the midst of the sheer silence of midnight when everyone was asleep , the particular pair of dark brown eyes starred at the ceiling of his room , blankly.

Yuvaan's eyes starred at nothing in particular as his mind recalled her words like a mantra. Only he knew how he controlled himself , from getting on his knees and begging for her forgiveness. From telling her the deepest feelings of his heart which he felt for her. From showing her of how much insane he has became , for her. But he didn't , he couldn't.

Because that night after shattering her so cruelly , he lost all his rights. The pain and numbness he felt after watching her teary eyes was the proof of how much he broke her and so now , he had no right to even ask her for forgiveness , because somewhere he knew that......

Her hate for him was his biggest punishment and only forgiveness that he deserved after all the pain he caused her.

Yuvaan closed his eyes as his heart and mind got clouded with her thoughts . She has became like a dose . Dose of his sanity , so addictive that only her thoughts are enough of taking his breath away. It has became too magical. Everything about her. Her presence, her face , her thoughts or just her name. Everything about her have became so magical to him that he is getting scared of it. All the shivers , the goosebumps , the sensations are becoming so overwhelming that its getting out of control for him. And the worst part is that he don't want to control it. All the control slips out of his hands the moment his eyes lands on her and at that moment all he want to do is follow his heart . Leave all the rationality and embrace her in his arms to the extent where there would be no escape for her , hide her from everyone and just keep her to himself , where there would be no one except them.

"God Nimrat" Yuvaan whispered as her name rolled over his tongue as if it was meant to be called that way. Clenching his eyes shut , he sat up straight. Trying to not think about her .
