As King grabbed a bowl from the shelf, he could feel Oreo shifting beside him, snuggling closer. He smiled to himself, enjoying the closeness. After filling the bowl with chips , he returned to the beanbag chair, plopping down with a soft thud.

"Here you go," he said, offering her the bowl. "Now we can eat like champions."

"Thanks," Oreo said, taking a handful of food. She leaned in even closer, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her head on his shoulder. "You know, I could definitely get used to this," she murmured, her voice soft and warm.

King's heart raced a little at the gesture. "Yeah? I mean, it's nice having you here," he replied, trying to keep his tone casual, though he could feel his cheeks warm slightly. He felt protective of her, wanting to shield her from everything outside this room.

After a few minutes of watching the movie, Oreo shivered slightly. King immediately noticed. "You cold?" he asked, glancing down at her.

"A little," she admitted, pulling away just enough to look at him. "But I'm okay."

King stood up again, looking for a cover. "Hold on," he said, grabbing a soft, fuzzy blanket from the corner of his bed. He draped it over both of them, tucking it snugly around Oreo before settling back into his spot.

"See? All better," he said with a smile.

"Thanks, King," Oreo said, looking up at him with bright eyes. She snuggled deeper under the blanket, pressing herself against him even more. "This is perfect."

King could feel his heart racing again. "Yeah, it is." He wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her closer, enjoying the warmth of her body against his.

As the movie played on, they both lost track of the dialogue. Oreo felt comfortable and safe, allowing her eyes to flutter closed. King, however, remained awake, acutely aware of how close they were. Every few moments, he'd glance down at her, catching her peaceful expression. She looked so serene, and it made him feel content.

"Hey," he whispered after a while, wanting to make sure she was still with him. "You still awake?"

"Mmm," she replied, not fully waking. "Just resting my eyes."

King chuckled softly. "You know, if you fall asleep on me, I might just have to keep you here forever."

Oreo giggled softly, her breath tickling his skin. "Sounds like a plan," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "I wouldn't mind that."

"Good, because I don't know if I'd let you leave," he teased, nudging her playfully.

"Really? You'd kidnap me?" Oreo laughed, her eyes finally opening a bit wider. "You're not that tough, King."

"Excuse me?" King pretended to be offended, sitting up slightly. "I could totally take you on in a fight. I'm like a ninja or something."

"A ninja? Really?" she scoffed, raising an eyebrow. "You're more like a clumsy teddy bear. I'd take you down without breaking a sweat."

"Please, you'd be surprised," he said, puffing out his chest in mock bravado. "I have moves. Just you wait."

"Yeah, moves like tripping over your own feet," Oreo replied, rolling her eyes but smiling.

King couldn't help but laugh. "Okay, maybe I have tripped a time or two... or three." He glanced at her playfully, noticing how she was still snuggled up against him. The warmth of her body was intoxicating, and he couldn't shake the feeling of wanting to be closer.

"Hey, you know," he said, squeezing her figure gently. He playfully ran his fingers along her thighs, feeling the softness of her skin. "I could get used to this," he teased.

Oreo swatted his hand away, giggling. "Hey! What are you doing?" she laughed, playfully swatting at him again.

"Just seeing how comfy you are," he replied, grinning widely. "You can't blame me for checking."

"Uh-huh, sure. Just checking," she said, shaking her head, but she didn't move away. Instead, she leaned in even closer, her cheek resting against his chest again.

King felt a surge of warmth at her acceptance, and he let his fingers trail back, this time more carefully. "You're lucky I'm nice," he teased, wiggling his fingers against her thigh again. "Otherwise, I might've tickled you."

"Oh no, please don't! I might actually kick you," Oreo laughed, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "You know I'm ticklish."

"Is that a challenge?" he said, raising an eyebrow. "Because I will win."

Oreo bit her lip, a playful glint in her eyes. "Bring it on, ninja boy."

As they settled back into a comfortable silence, the movie continued to play, but King's attention was more focused on Oreo than the screen. He could feel her warmth radiating against him, the soft rise and fall of her breath comforting him.

"Hey," he said quietly, breaking the silence again. "You know I'm really glad you came over tonight."

"Me too," she replied softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I always have fun with you."

"Yeah?" King glanced down at her, surprised at how much he meant it. "I always worry that you'll get bored or want to leave."

"Never," she said, shaking her head. "I like being here. It feels... right."

King's heart swelled at her words. "I feel the same way," he admitted, trying to keep his voice steady. "You make everything better."

Oreo looked up at him, her eyes wide. "Really? You think so?"

"Definitely," he replied, feeling a bit bolder. "I mean, you're smart, funny, and way more interesting than I am. Plus, you put up with all my weirdness."

"Your weirdness is part of your charm," she said, smiling. "I wouldn't want you any other way."

He smiled back, feeling a warmth spread through him. "You're the best, you know that?"

"Only because I have the best guy around," she said softly.

Feeling emboldened by the moment, King wrapped both arms around her, pulling her in closer. "We should do this more often."

"Agreed," Oreo said, her voice muffled against him. "Like, all the time."

As the movie played softly in the background, King felt the gentle rhythm of Oreo's breath against him. The warmth of her body was soothing, and he could sense the comfort radiating between them. He absentmindedly played with a strand of her hair, twirling it between his fingers, while Oreo nestled deeper into his embrace.

"Are you still awake?" King whispered, not really expecting an answer.

"Mmm," Oreo murmured, her voice sleepy and content. She shifted slightly, nuzzling closer against his chest.

Feeling her warmth enveloping him, King's heart swelled. He tightened his grip around her, feeling her body relax even more against him. The world outside their bubble faded away, and all that mattered was the two of them—here, in this moment.

Slowly, King's eyelids grew heavy, the comforting presence of Oreo lulling him into a peaceful state. As he drifted off, he could feel her fingers brushing lightly against his side, a subtle reassurance that they were together. In that serene silence, they both surrendered to sleep, finding solace in each other's arms as the flickering light of the movie cast soft shadows around them.
