Recently the female character came in contact with the male during a night out, and it was as thought nothing had changed; they were still very clearly in love with each other through their eyes alone. She heard through the grape vine that he is not happy in his relationship either. Is there anything she can do that is within moral grounds to pursue this man who got away without causing any harm to him and his family?
