The two continued to ask each other more questions, keeping the conversation light and easy. They were enjoying a nice, interesting topic when loud music started blaring, growing louder as it approached.

Travis looked around and recognized a group of three guys swaggering toward them like classic movie thugs.

He sighed, realizing, 'Damn, I forgot these fuckers would pull up today.'

Standing up, he prepared to confront them, but Eve stopped him.

"Don't. It's not worth it. Let's just go. They've been hanging around here recently, and today they're just showing up later than usual," she urged.

"Okay. Let's go. I'll walk you home," he replied, feeling a mix of irritation and concern as he glanced back at the approaching group.

As they walked away, Travis suddenly sensed something hurtling toward him. Instinctively, he dodged, narrowly avoiding a beer can.

"Alright," he muttered, turning around and approaching the group of troublemakers.

"Yo, look what we got here. What you gonna d—" Tyrone's taunt was cut short as Travis gripped him by the neck, effortlessly lifting him into the air.

"You better watch where you throw your shit. Next time, okay? I'm not warning you again," Travis growled, his voice low and dangerous. He threw Tyrone toward his gang, who scrambled to catch him. The group hesitated, trying to appear tough, but the cold intensity in Travis's eyes made them falter.

"Aight, man, we'll leave," one of them muttered, backing away. The others quickly followed suit, their earlier bravado completely drained.

Travis exhaled and turned back to Eve, who was smiling, her eyes gleaming with admiration.

"What's got you smiling like that?" he asked, curious.

"Nothing, just happy, I guess," she said, her voice soft, but the warmth in her tone was unmistakable.

They crossed the road and soon arrived at Eve's house.

"Thanks for spending time with me, Travis. I really loved every second of it," she said with a smile, handing him her bag.

"Yeah, same here. Well, I gotta go now. Peace, Eve," he replied, giving her a gentle pat on the head before turning around and breaking into a sprint.

Before she could blink, Travis had already disappeared into the night.

Eve chuckled to herself, shaking her head with amusement.

' I just hope he doesn't cum as fast as he runs, ' she thought with a mischievous grin, heading inside.

He arrived home in just a few seconds, pushing open the front door. The low hum of voices floated from the living room. Travis strolled toward the sound, casually glancing in. There, he saw Debbie lounging on the couch, phone pressed to her ear as she chatted with Diane.

"Oh, well, I'm happy he was able to help you with your garden," Debbie said, her tone light but distracted.

"Where is he? I'd like to speak to him, honestly," Diane's voice crackled faintly from the other end of the line.

Debbie shifted in her seat. "Um, he went out with that girl in our neighborhood. He said they're going to the library, but I'm sure that's just code for 'we'll be fucking today.'"

Before Debbie could continue, Travis cleared his throat, breaking the moment. Debbie jumped slightly, turning her head, and froze when she saw him standing in the doorway, arms crossed, brow slightly raised.
