The Message

"Woah!" Charlie panicked as a large blue and green sphere appeared out of nowhere, luckily he had been waiting with his finger on the 'Speedy Time' switch and was ready but when he flipped it they were almost pulled from their seats.

"Thank god for seatbelts." He thought.

"Thank god I had these seatbelts installed!" Velocity said before loosing his lunch in Bucks toilet bucket.

They came to a stop to where the whole Earth couldn't be seen outside the front window, instead they could see a dark and cloudy Europe, less light pollution than usual could be seen.

"That was a little too close mate!" Velocity laughed.

Five laughed and threw her hands in the air like she was on a rollercoaster, the two men turned to look at her like she was crazy. She was still laughing and explained how physical thrills don't do a lot for her but mental ones excite her.

"Just another thing that makes her sentient." Charlie found a strange comfort in that thought.

"Wow she really fascinates you huh?" Hella asked.
"Maybe you two will end up together?" A smugness could be heard in her voice.

"You're in my mind right? Do you not know about Scarlett?" He asked.

"Of course I do, it's just sweet to see."

While they recovered and admired the planet they spotted the lower half of England, slowly they approached the landmass while keeping their altitude. As they went Five pointed out a strange structure in the distance which seemed to extend from London itself, as they got closer they realised it was a space elevator.

"Earth didn't have a space port did it?" Five asked.

"That fucker." Velocity growled. "She's taken my planet, my people and now my inventions?"

"We'll make this right your majesty." Charlie reassured. "We haven't survived an apocalypse for nothing."

"We should descend over the Atlantic and approach from the east." Five suggested.

They both agreed on the plan and pierced the atmosphere over the ocean, the view quickly turned from blue to red as they descended a little too fast for comfort. The Ark creaked like a submarine underwater and Velocity made them slow down before they became a meteor.

"Just be careful with her, she's never done an atmospheric entry before." The king warned.

He nodded and slowed the Ark's descent even more, making it another fifteen minutes before they could make out the details in the waves. They went for another hour or so making their way to the mainland and through to London, smoke bellowed from every visible city in the country and fiery light swallowed entire sections of a few places.

"What the Fuck happened?" Velocity asked.

"The kill switch," Five started.
"Once Jay hit it all the clones she had ever made would've gone savage wether she wanted them to or not, not to mention the production line."

"The what now?" Velocity asked, snapping his neck to her.

"You didn't hear before? Once the kill switch is initiated the towers underground factories begin robot production, making hundreds or even thousands in as little time as a week. Some are most likely equipped with weapons too, fabricators and when she returns I'm sure they'll be imbued."

"What's imbuing? She said something about that when she took Henry." Asked Charlie.

"She's got someone with the ability to transfer abilities, those abilities can be put into people or objects. An imbued object can have unpredictable effects though so it's only done in moderation."
