Alex walked out the window-shattered 'Alt Beats' antique vinyl shop that him, Scarlett and dozens of others had found shelter in, the store housed one of Jayden's thick walled bunkers beneath the shop which held two thousand five hundred people and twenty five thousand vinyl records at the music enthusiast's suggestion. Alex had never been part of a disaster response team until now, they had waited 30 minutes underground before declaring it was safe to go outside.

A blast of heat engulfed him as he saw the wreckage. Most of the surrounding area was indistinguishable from what used to be the plaza and it only got worse as they creeped towards the impact location. Cars overturned, the ground a jigsaw puzzle of bodies, charred and bludgeoned, countless numbers of them. Fires progressed through anything still standing and distant screams mixing in with sirens made Alex realise there were still people out here alive, trapped and injured, who needed his help.

It didn't surprise him to see Jayden's tower only lightly scorched around the edges but overall in one piece. He took a moment to compose himself, subconsciously prayed for Charlie's safety before he covered one eye as the other dissolved into gunpowder. Overall about 50 fly-like points of view appeared to his vision and Alex tried his best not to throw up, after gulping back his dinner the visions moved in sync with the specks spreading out and disappearing into the rouble

"One... two... three..." He was counting the living people his visions came by, but it wasn't as simple as that.
"Four... Five..." As he wasn't a doctor he only counted people he knew he could save.
"Six... Seven..." He quickly dispersed all the matter in his left arm to head towards the dozens of other people he had spotted that were too injured for him to treat, he hoped some other rescue team would come past. When these branches were above a trapped person they formed a rotating arrow Alex silently wished he could make glow, also he wished it didn't take so much concentration to control all of these different branches of his body.

"Eight." He said out loud before leaping forward and disintegrating, letting his clothes drop to the floor, even though each particle could lift one hundred times its own weight he would need each one.

He first focused on the young girl trapped behind a blocked door, squeezing himself through the splintered wood and chunks of concrete. The building she was trapped in was what used to be the Bluedy bar. In front of the door, half hidden beneath a steal beam, lay a deceased woman with the same hair colour as the girl. He spread himself between the wall and the beam before using all his force to push the whole structure up, trying not to defile the corpse underneath. He did so, with some effort, successfully while even managing to lift and move the body to a safe place out of sight from the child. Finally he manoeuvered through the failing wooden door where the girl was trapped, he covered the inner side and blew it out as if it were a failing airlock, holding the surrounding area steady with occasional single particles. She ran out into safety and into the arms of a man who shared her facial features. He needed to tell him about the body but there was no time. He flew off to the next location his branched eyes had revealed.

The next target was on the second floor of an indistinguishable mess that used to be a building, the small boy was trapped beneath a fallen wooden beam. Fire was approaching the lad but Alex rocketed towards him, immediately launching the beam which was then engulfed by the blaze which soon would take the rest of the building. He surrounded the kid and gently lifting him to the ground, being careful of the burn marks covering his right arm. He took the boy to Scarlett whom had made a sudden appearance, as always, at the base of the rubble. He knew she'd be able to take care of him.

Next was a group of 2, a father using his whole body to resist a concrete boulder, stopping the bull from crushing who Alex assumed was the man's son. He melted into the mass on top of the trembling man and released him of the weight. Alex assumed the man had some sort of strength ability as at the moment He should be able to move approximately 5 tonnes. He managed to hold it up long enough for the man and his son to escape before the pile of rouble, which Alex was previously keeping held, slipped loose crushing the ground beneath. He saw them run outside and decided they were safe.
