The next day, Addie went to the Private Golf Course on Figure Eight with her brother, Rafe. To her surprise, Topper had came along with them.

She wore a small green skirt with a white aligned tank top, with her hair in a neat half-up-half-down look.

As they arrived, Rafe and Topper walked ahead with their golf clubs while Addie walked further behind looking around. Truthfully, she would rather be at home with her dog, but she had been forced to get out of the house more often.

"Man, that party was insane!" Topper chuckled, "I mean my first thought when I did the line was.. Bro, do we have enough? It was crazy!"

As she heard Topper speak to Rafe, that one single word stuck out to her: 'the line.' It kept repeating over and over again in her head.

Rafe, had gotten addicted to drugs a few months back, she never knew why. She just knew her Dad hated him for it.

"I know, right? That was good shit." Rafe replied quietly to Topper.

Were they both really that stupid to think Addie couldn't hear every word they were saying? I mean, she wasnt oblivious to the fact Rafe did drugs. But Topper? She had no idea. Clearly, it was his first time yesterday. Probably after him and Sarah had an argument.

"Hey, you, uh... you didn't tell Sarah, did you?" Topper muttered under his breath.

"Are you kidding me, man? The way she runs her mouth? Hell, no" Rafe replied hitting the ball so far it landed onto someone else's.

An angry man shouted over the course, "Hey, come on now!"

"Shut up!" Rafe shouted back. "Shouldn't be taking so long anyway."

Addie sighed after her brother's rudeness once again, she turned around to smile at the man and then turned back to the two boys.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Rafe said.

"Hey, what?" Topper replied.

"Hm?" Addie asked.

Suddenly they all turned their heads to see a boy, a pogue, Pope Heyward.

He was a nice boy, he was also very smart. Addie had spoken to him a few times here and there because she knew his Father, Heyward.

Pope walked past with some beers. It was quite obvious he was most likely doing a delivery for his dad.

Rafe stared, "I don't think he's a member."

"Leave it Rafe, it's probably just a delivery" She said quickly.

"It's fine, just—just let him go" Topper spoke hesitantly, "Let's go get your ball. Come on."

"They put a gun to your head, bro."

Addie rolled her eyes, "That was JJ, Rafe and Topper did try to drown John B."

"So it's okay for a pogue to put a gun to his head?"

She scoffed, "No, of course not—I'm not excusing their behaviour but I just think it needs to be left. Both of them were in the wrong, and this whole kooks vs pogues thing is really, really stupid."
