Not long after, the strange interaction with Topper, John B had came back to Tannyhill after being with the Pogues and brang Sarah and Addie to the Chateau.

The two girls got their bikes, but they didn't really ride them as John B was walking.

"So you found the gold?" Sarah questioned John B trying not to laugh as she pushed her bike along the grass.

"Yes, Yes!" He replied.

Addie scrunched up her face still walking through the grass pushing her bike, "I'm still confused on this whole gold thing."

The pair just looked to her and then carried on talking, "But under an axe murderer's house?" Sarah questioned, not buying that they actually found the royal merchant gold.

John B shrugged, "Well, yeah, uh— kind of."

Addie laughed, "Your stuttering a bit there, John B, are you sure you really found it?"

John B scoffed, "Yes I am 100% sure! It's got to be there!"

"That's perfect!" Sarah exclaimed.

"Yes. Perfect. I mean, the only thing is the well is super sketchy deep." John B explained where the pogues had went.

"Kinda wish I was with you guys." Sarah spoke, jealous that she wasn't there to see.

Addie replied lightly, "I don't. Sounds shit scary."

"Well you'll both be there for real tonight." And then the two girls gave eachother the exact same look, knowing that the others probably wouldn't be happy to hear that two 'kooks' would be joining in on their mission, especially not the two Cameron sisters.

"Is it okay?" Sarah and Adeline asked in sync, their eyes darting to John B.

John B shook his head, "Yeah— of course. Vlad and Val gotta be together, right?"

Addie frowned slightly, playfully and looked to John B then he shook his head quickly, "And you, Adeline, you can be.. Veronica..?"

"I'll pass." She laughed.

Sarah shook her head at John B, "No, no. I mean.. with the others."

Her sister backed her up, "Yeah, I don't think they'll be too pleased that we're joining their mission, they didn't really like when we were at the Hawks Nest."

The boy reassured them, "Yes, everything's fine."

The three stopped in their tracks when John B questioned, "What?"

Sarah put her hands on her hips, "Kiara said something, didn't she?"

"No." John B lied, awfully, you could see it in his face and body language he was obviously not telling the truth.

"Your the worst liar I've ever met." Addie spat out.

His tone changed, sounding more defensive, "I'm not lying."
