Even if Edward told him not to tell the whole wide world yet, Roy still invited almost everyone he could reach and had a decent relationship with Ed. He was just too. .excited, he anticipated for reactions.

The diner was packed, Roy almost forgot how popular the younger blond was. Standing up from his seat, he caught the undivided attention from everyone. Clearing his throat, he lifted up his glass, of water, and called a toast.

"This one is on the house. This is all for, once was Fullmetal, Edward Elric and his wife Winry!"

The place started to rumble and shake from the sudden erupt in cheers and hollers but suddenly it was shushed by Riza. She stood up from behind Roy, whom she earned a glare from, and opened her mouth to speak. He expression wasn't very exciting. .

"Congrats to Winry and Edward-Kun but. .I'm paying, your leader is currently lacking money and only wants show off."

After a good laugh and tease, and maybe a few grumbles from Roy. The crowd finally settled and waited for the signal to start the celebration. With a calm smile, Riza announced,

"Rejoice!"

One last time, everyone cheered and hollered before one by one, they started to crowd around the two special ones.

Havoc was crying tears of joy, in which everybody thought he was probably overreacting but then again, this was all very moving. .

"I'm. .I'm so happy. .! You two. .you--you grew up so much!!"

The former alchemist scrunched up his face and raised an eyebrow, was that suppose to be a indirect way of saying he use to be short ?

"What is that suppose to mean?"

Winry nervously laughs, knowing how easily he can blow up over something as small as that. .But, more and more people started coming; people from, Breda, Denny, Maria, Ross. .etc.

The crowd went to a sudden hush and the mood became a bit tense. Edward noticed the scary presence right away. .someone, something was here. But, who? What?

"You've done good boy! Making a lady happy like you should be!"

Oliver Armstrong. As expected, he booming voice gave Edward shivers up and down his spine. But, her words only made him feel proud of himself. As she made her way up to the blond male, she roughly gave him a pat on his head. It was her way of silent praise.

"You came all the way from the North, for this. .?"

She turned her baby blue eyes to meet Winry's similar eyes and quickly nodded. It was a harsh journey for her but it was worth it in her opinion, she wanted to see how much Edward has developed in his state.

"Thank you." Winry whispered, her little signs of gratitude started to show.

A sudden yell from Fuery caused everyone to turn to the sudden warning. Another Armstrong came bursting through the entrance, making he crowd disperse without a second thought. But, that left the couple exposed to his next attack.

"Edward Elric!"

He's crying. Great.

Without hesitation or any retaliation from Oliver, Major easily swept them both off their feet, giving Edward a bit of a panic attack.

"H-Hey, Major, be careful, will you?"

Edward said, a bit nervously. He didn't want any type of pain to affect Winry.

"I-I'm sorry!! I'm just so proud. .!!"

There it is again; that familiar dark and tense presence. The feeling was similar to when Oliver came but it was a bit different. Izumi.

"S-Sensei!"

Major shrieked down and joined the crowd as Edward tried doing the same thing but he had no where to go. .he knew he couldn't escape his teacher no matter how hard he tried.

Izumi was basically face to face with Edward now, being barely out of his reach. Edward steadily raised up his hands, trying to protect himself. He was scared he was gonna get punished again for probably doing something wrong, without knowing. But, instead of a punch across the face, it became one of her rare hugs instead. After that hard squeeze, she happily squeaked and turned over Winry, quickly eyeing her.

"Is this your girl?! She's so cute!"

"Yeah, that's her. ."

Edward said a bit nervously before he turned over to his wife and she quickly bowed to Izumi as a response.

Music suddenly started playing, making everyone dance and laugh together. Food was finally brought out and the actual celebration finally started. But, many more congrats came the couple's way.

There was a sudden stamped that just entered the diner. The group of Alphonse, Mei, Ling, and Lan Fan. Did they really travel through the whole desert from Xing to Central?

"Al!"

Edward called out, completely surprised from the surprise visit. The little group breathlessly walked up to the couple and exchanged quick and happy greetings.

" Nii - San! We came as fast as we could!!"

Alphonse said, with a smile on his grown and tired face. Edward almost couldn't even recognize him. As the siblings were intrigued in their own convo, the girls were doing the same.

"I-Is it a boy or a girl?"

Lan Fan asked, sheepishly. She was a bit curious on how this kids stuff worked. She might use it for some future purposes. .Mei didn't think any differently.

"Boy! Isn't that right, Ed?"

Her husband heard that loud and clear. Excitingly, he nodded and turned back to Alphonse, exposing his plans to the other.

"A boy, Al! I'm gonna teach him alchemy for sure!"

Winry sent glares over to her husband, her plans for her son didn't exactly match up with his. This is the part their relationship where they didn't exactly agree on the same thing thus stupid little arguments are created. .

" He's going to be a mechanic, Edward!"
"Alchemist!"
"Mechanic!"
