Great-Grandma

A few days later, Edward and Winry finally returned back to Resmbool,
"Granny, we're home!"
Pinako exited her workshop, and entered the living room,
"Ah, welcome back, are you okay, Winry?"
"I'll manage."
"Good."
Edward sets down their luggage and helped a Winry sit down, and then he started making some tea, Pinako went to go sit down next to Winry,
"Winry, are you in the mood to work?"
"I am but I don't want to worry Edward over here."
"Well, I'm worried already!"
He finishes pouring the tea and hands some to Winry and Pinako,
"Thanks, I know you are."
She smiles, and Pinako smirks,
"You want to become a dad as soon as possible don't you?"
Edward blushes,
"N-Not only that!" "Winry wants to become a mom as soon as possible too!"
"Well, y'know it's for your sake!"
"Wha-"
He continued blushing as Winry and Pinako started laughing together.

A little but later Edward returned from a little shopping for his son,
"Ed!" "Welcome back."
Winry who was cooking dinner embraced Edward as he came through the door,
"Hey, I'm back."
"Yeah, did you get the things I wanted."
"Yeah, here."
He places the paper bag on the kitchen counter as Winry notices another bag in his other arm,
"What's in the other bag?"
"I-I bought some stuff for our son."
"Aw, that's sweet Ed."
Winry started to put away the new items Edward has bought as Ed tries to walk away she realized what Ed was trying to do,
"Edward!" "What are these?!"
She pulls out an alchemy book Edward bought, he misplaced the bags it seems like, he stopped in his tracks and tried accepting his punishment,
"Don't get too cocky!"
She throws the book which directly hit Edward in the head,

Edward tried keeping his balance, because of the other bag which had food items in it,
"I'm sorry!"
He holds out the other bag to Winry as she takes the other bag and trades with him,
"Now keep these, and we'll let our child decide..."
Edward rubs the place where the book hit as he claimed his bag and the book that landed on floor and headed back to his room.
He stopped at his doorway,
"Don't force yourself to do anything, kay'?"
"Yeah, I know."
She smiles and her hands tighten around the bag she was still holding.
Edward enters his room and sets down the bag on his desk as he sits down and rubs his forehead once more,
"Ow!" "She can really go overboard sometimes."
Winry continued to make dinner while she was muttering things to herself,
"Man, he can do stupid things sometimes, why did I fall in love for a guy like him?"
Pinako hearing the complaing chimed in without Winry knowing,
"It's destiny!"
"Grandma?!"
She sighs,
"What should I do with him?"
"That's your choice, kiddo."
"I know, I know."
