I was in deep slumber when I suddenly felt thirsty. I turned towards the table only to find that the jug was empty. I sighed and looked towards the clock- it was 3.00a.m. I rose from the bed and made my way towards the kitchen when I heard some sounds coming from the garden.
I started moving towards the garden, chanting Hanuman Chalisa- I mean who wouldn't. It's bloody 3.00a.m that means the time for the ghosts to roam around. A shiver ran accross my spine as all the thoughts started running across my mind. Bhagwaan abhi toh shaadi bhi nahi hu itna jaldi apne paas bulane ka irada kyu hai. I mentally cried at my fate. I took a deep breath and heard soft murmuring of someone.
I took a breath of relief when I found it was none other than- 'Aarav bhaiya'. I thought of moving towards him but soon I found out that he was talking on phone and looked really tense. I moved a little more towards the garden so I could hear clearly what he was talking about. I didn't mean to pass through his privacy but looking at his expressions he really seemed tense and looked like he was on the verge of breaking down.
"I-I am rea-really sorry. Please forgive me." Aarav bhaiya said to the person he was talking on phone.
He sadly chuckled, shook his head in disbelief. "Please-please tal-talk to me. It's freaking hurting me. Please" He looked like he would tear up any minute.
"I made a freaking mad mistake. But I love you baccha. I really do. And no matter what it is...I'll make you forgive me, and make you fall in love with me again" He said in stern yet soft voice.
"I know you're getting late. I'll call you again afterwords. But remember this- I love you Smrid-"
I was about to hear the name of the girl when someone's whimpering sound came.
I turned to move from where the sounds were coming- and it was from his room.
What the heck raatko log sote nahi hai kya!
The sounds started getting heavier and I was getting a bad feeling about it. I stood in front of his door and and began knocking.
After waiting for almost five minutes the sound was getting even more heavier and there was no response from inside. I started feeling tense. I thought of waiting for few more minutes when suddenly a crashing sound came in- and without waiting for a second I barged into the room, and I froze- the scene in front of me-
The vase was knocked off on the ground and there was Avyan sitting at the edge of the bed- his head hung low down, his knees drawn to his chest and his hands holding onto his hair. Sweat beads were dripping from his face and he was shivering. He was whispering something in and inaudible voice and it didn't even took me a second to recognise-
HE WAS HAVING A PANIC ATTACK!
I quickly rushed towards him and bent down to his level. I hold onto his arms and called out to him softly- " Avyan".
