Once the chaos of Vihaan calling Lily "wifey" had settled slightly-and by settled, I mean Lily had momentarily given up on smacking him with her slipper-we all sat staring at them in disbelief. Aarav bhai, ever the instigator, leaned forward with a grin.

"Alright, you two," he said, resting his chin on his hands. "How exactly do you know each other? And don't leave out any details. This is too good to let slide."

Vihaan's grin widened like he had been waiting for someone to ask. Lily, on the other hand, groaned and buried her face in her hands.

"Do we really need to-" Lily began, but Vihaan cut her off.

"Of course, we do!" he said cheerfully. "This is the love story of the century. How could we not share it?"

"It's a nightmare, not a love story," Lily muttered, shooting him a glare.

Ignoring her, Vihaan leaned back in his chair, his expression dreamlike as he started recounting the tale.

"It all started at a wedding," he said dramatically, clasping his hands together. "A beautiful day, filled with music, laughter, and destiny."

"Destiny?" Lily interrupted, raising an eyebrow.

"Shh, wifey, I'm telling the story," Vihaan replied with a wink.

Lily groaned again but didn't stop him, though she looked ready to pounce if he got too carried away.

---

Vihaan's voice dropped to an almost theatrical tone. "I was sitting with a group of friends, minding my own business, being my usual charming self-"

"Being insufferable," Lily muttered under her breath.

"-when out of nowhere, this whirlwind of chaos and beauty walked straight up to me. She was holding a kachori like her life depended on it, and her eyes... oh, her eyes were sparkling with determination and terror."

At this point, Kritika and I exchanged wide-eyed glances. "What?" I mouthed silently, but Kritika just shrugged, equally clueless.

"Anyway," Vihaan continued, clearly enjoying the attention, "before I could even process what was happening, she sat on my lap, grabbed my face, and-"

"Stop!" Lily exclaimed, her face turning crimson. "You're making it sound so much worse than it was!"

"I'm not exaggerating," Vihaan said, looking offended. "You kissed me in front of everyone!"

Kritika and I gasped. "Wait, WHAT?"

"I was dared!" Lily said quickly, her voice rising an octave. "It wasn't like I wanted to!"

Vihaan clutched his chest as if she had stabbed him. "You didn't want to kiss me? I'm hurt, wifey. Truly."

"Don't call me that!" Lily snapped, though her blush deepened.
