Ainslee opened the door to see Iain there. He sighed as he looked to her. "Is everything okay?" He asked.
Iain nodded. "Yeah. I've come to get some of my stuff."
Ainslee sighed. "Iain. It doesn't have to be like this. We can make it work," she told him.
Iain rolled his eyes. He looked to her. "You think it's okay? What I've done. How I've caused my own daughter to end up in hospital."
"It was an accident Iain. You don't need to worry. She's fine. We're fine. Everyone is fine," Ainslee told him.
She knew all too well how he had been struggling lately. And she wanted nothing more than to be there for him. But he was pushing her away.
"Excuse me," Iain said as he walked into the bedroom. He saw Ainslee stood in the doorway. "Where is she?" He asked.
"She's with my sister and Sam. Hannah is taking her shopping tomorrow with Sam's credit card. To make up for the fact her daddy hasn't seen her in days," Ainslee told him.
Iain walked over to Ainslee and kissed her lips gently. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. Their lips met again in yet another deep and passionate kiss.
His lips tweaked higher at the corners when she pushed up to kiss him again.
Ainslees feet shuffled backward with his movements, the embrace interrupted when he took the tumbler from her, setting it down on the bar cart.
Hand's settle on her hips, guiding her backwards again once his lips were locked with hers.
She knew where they were heading, part of her wanting to stop things purely because he seemed so confident about their destination.
Except, she wanted him. Her hands slipped the buttons on his shirt free.
She wanted him more than she'd ever admit to herself. Her purple top fell next.
Slacks cinched at the waist as fingers made quick work of the fasteners, one garment after another littering a trail in their wake.
The outfit she'd spent over twenty minutes looking for that morning, her favorite lacy lilac bra...
The clothing scavenger hunt he was leaving her would only serve as a reminder that she'd picked out the outfit with him in mind.
Her legs hit his bed and she crawled backwards, returning the intensity of his gaze when he followed.
Iain hovered above, breaking eye contact to briefly scan down the length of her body before returning his lips to hers.
A soft moan escaped as his tongue enveloped her nipple and she rolled her eyes at the smile she felt against the flesh of her breast.
Under normal circumstances she'd want the man she was with to know she enjoyed his ministrations, but not Iain—at least not that quickly.
His fingers slipped beneath the matching lilac panties, running the length of her slit, circling her clit, and then slipping inside.
