A year later...

Ainslee sighed to herself as she stood in front of the mirror. She was starting her first day at her new job. She was starting at holby ED as a nurse. Ainslee got dressed and smiled as she looked to her and Iain's little girl. Ainslee didn't have the guts to tell Iain the truth. To tell him about ebony. She knew it was just sex between them when they were in the army. Ainslee got dressed and grabbed ebony and drove to work. She got to the ED as she grabbed ebony from the car seat and sighed to herself. Ainslee looked to ebony and smiled. She knew her mind was on Iain, it was constantly on Iain since the day that she left him. She knew that she broke his heart and she hated that. She didn't want to be the reason that he was upset. Ainslee looked to ebony and smiled before she walked off towards the crèche.

Later, ainslee stood by the nurses station and frowned as she saw Iain come in with a call out. She looked to him and froze as he looked as if he saw a ghost. She felt her heart skip a beat as she looked to him and smiled to him "hey" she said as he smiled at her as she felt all of her feelings for him come back "I'm sorry" she said as he looked To her and glared "it's a little to late ains, don't you think?" He spat as he walked off into resus as Ainslee sighed to herself as she ran a hand through her hair, annoyed with herself.

Later that day, ainslee walked into the ambulance bay where she saw Iain who was clearing up. He looked to her and glared "I know your mad with me and I don't blame you, but I'm sorry" she said as he turned to face her and sighed "you left me Ainslee, you broke my heart and left as if we were nothing. You didn't even tell me, you acted like a coward. If you did t love me you should of told me, you broke my heart" Iain said as she nodded "I know and I shouldn't of done it. I never wanted to hurt you" she said as he turned to her and sighed "I loved you, I never told you but I did. I was in love with you" he said with tears in his eyes.

"I know but I had to leave" she said as he looked to her and frowned "why?" "Because I was pregnant" she said as he likens to her and frowned "you had a baby? You had my baby?" He asked as she nodded "I had your daughter, I loved you Iain and I didn't want to force you into anything" ainslee said "that was my choice to make, you cut me out of her life. How could you?" He asked as she looked to him with tears in her eyes as Iain walked off.

Later ainslee stood in the ED and sighed to herself. She couldn't stop thinking about Iain and how angry that he was with her "are you okay?" Fletch asked ainslee as she looked to him and smiled "I guess so, Iain is mad at me. We met in the army and fell in love but I left when I found out that I was pregnant I was scared he would hate me and now he knows the truth" ainslee said as fletch looked To her and smiled as he hugged her and smiled "you are a great person Ains, and you and Iain will work it out" he said as she looked to him and smiled. Later ainslee walked out of the ED with ebony and saw Iain as he walked over "'tis is her" he said as she handed ebony to him "this is ebony" she said as Iain looked to her and smiled "we need to talk" he said as Ainslee nodded.
