The bus rumbled along the highway, its engine muffled by the thick blanket of snow outside.
She stared out the frosted window, watching as snowflakes danced in the pale morning light, swirling around the distant mountains, their peaks hidden beneath a white haze.
The world outside seemed frozen in time, like it belonged to someone else. Hugging her backpack closer, she could feel the weight of the invitation from the Comedy School tucked safely inside.
It felt surreal-everything was happening so fast.
Her fingers traced the edge of the letter through the fabric of her bag, a small comfort against the uncertainty that lay ahead.
Cecelia had been so encouraging, so sure of her decision, but now that the day had come, the doubts were creeping in again.
What if it was all a mistake? What if she didn't belong there?
The bus hit a bump, jolting her out of her thoughts.
She glanced around at the other passengers. Most were asleep, their heads resting against the foggy windows, while a few others were listening to music or flipping through books.
She wondered if any of them were headed to the same place. Would she recognize anyone once they arrived?
She sighed and looked back out at the snowy world rushing past.
(It's too late to turn back now..)
Cecelia's words echoed in her mind.
"You can do this. You've worked for it. You belong there as much as anyone!"
But now that the moment was here, the excitement that had buzzed inside her for weeks was starting to feel more like fear.
Player takes a deep breath, feeling the weight of anticipation and possibility in the air. The future is uncertain, but she is ready to embrace whatever comes her way.
As the snow settles, the prestigious Comedy School eventually fades into view, revealing its grand architecture and sprawling campus. Silhouettes of people can be seen near the entrance, some casually sitting on benches and others strolling about.
Could those be the students? She thought to herself, astounded that today she would be among them.
"We're almost at the Comedy School; gather your things and get ready to hop off."
