As you stood up to leave, feeling somewhat lighter after your talk with Lisa, her voice stopped you in your tracks.

"Wait, before you go," she said, her tone shifting to something more serious. "We've come up with a plan to get more evidence. We've tracked down what we think might be Jeon Ha-joon's house."

The words hit you like a ton of bricks, freezing you mid-step. You slowly turned to face her, your heart thudding in your chest. Your mind raced, a thousand thoughts colliding all at once.

His house? Was she talking about... your house?

Lisa, oblivious to the internal storm brewing inside you, continued casually. "It's not too far from here. Just outside of town, actually. We've confirmed an address that matches some of the leads we've gathered. We're gearing up for a mission to head there and search for more information. Could be where he's been hiding all this time."

You swallowed hard, your throat suddenly dry. The possibility loomed in your mind, heavy and suffocating. Could she mean the house where you grew up? Was your father hiding his connection to the virus right under your nose?

But then, Lisa mentioned something that gave you a moment of relief. "It's this old place on the outskirts of the industrial district—kind of run-down, but it fits the profile."

Your breath caught, and you blinked in surprise. That wasn't your house. Not even close. You let out a silent sigh of relief, your body untensing just a little.

"Phew," you muttered under your breath, though the relief was fleeting. You still needed answers. And the gnawing fear that your father was involved hadn't disappeared completely.

Lisa caught the slight shift in your demeanor but didn't comment on it. Instead, she pressed on. "We're moving out soon. It's urgent—we don't want to waste any more time if this leads us closer to him. Taehyung and Jimin are already prepping for the mission. I thought you'd want to know."

You nodded, your mind still spinning. "Yeah... thanks for telling me."

As you walked away from her, the thoughts swirled endlessly in your head. You couldn't help but wonder, what if? What if, despite the different address, this whole nightmare still led back to your father? What if everything you feared was true?

You felt a cold chill run down your spine. After this mission, you had to check on your parents. You hadn't heard from them in a while, and the doubt was eating you alive. You needed to be sure.

"I just hope... this is all some kind of mistake," you whispered to yourself. The idea that your father might be the one responsible for all this devastation made you feel sick to your stomach. You couldn't bear to think of him as the mastermind behind this horror.

As the team prepped for the mission, the urgency hung in the air like a storm cloud. Time was running out, and everyone knew it. You could only hope that this new lead would bring you closer to the truth—and not tear apart everything you once believed.
