Lia watched as Nik paced the floor, Stefan had stolen the coffins his family were in and took off. When they had gone for Rebekah, she was already taken. Of course, Elena and Damon claimed to have no idea where Stefan was, so Lia was trying to think of where he could hide them. She had a feeling he would be somewhere close but secluded.
Nik was using his Hybrids to search as well, they weren't having much luck either. Lia was helping him choose decorations for the house he had purchased. The house was large enough for all of his siblings to have their own space, when he woke them.
They were currently waiting for Katherine and Mason to show, the female vampire had been scoping out the Salvatores, hoping to find something. She hadn't had luck finding the White Oak tree, so she was helping with this. Nik was surprised she would, he knew she cared for Lia but she hated him. He then wondered if she was hoping for something else.
Hearing the knock, one of the Hybrids went to answer the door. When they returned, Mason and Katherine were with them. Lia walked over to hug them both in greeting. "Hey, glad you could make it."
Mason walked over to greet Nik, while Katherine stayed with Lia. "Your sister is of the mind you've betrayed her."
Rolling her eyes, Lia sighed, "Of course she is. Just because I wouldn't let them kill Nik, I betrayed her. She doesn't take into account that she's who actually betrayed me."
"I understand she hates me for the ritual, but other than that, I've left her alone. Lia's the reason I have!" Nik added.
Mason nods, "I think their whole little group has lost it. Bonnie seems to be helping hide your family. I overheard her talking with Stefan about them."
Katherine looked to Nik, "I know Lia's the only reason you agreed, but thank you."
He was surprised by that, "You're welcome. I can agree, we are even and Lia likes you, so that's in your favor."
Lia looked to Mason, "Wait, Bonnie's helping?" He nodded, she looked to Nik. "I might have an idea where your family is."
"Where? We've looked everywhere." Nik asked.
"When Elijah came to town, he was asking about sites where witches were sacrificed. I only know of one, and I only know because it's where we stayed for the sacrifice." Lia pulled out the map they had been using and pointed, "Here, there's so much witch activity, they would easily be able to hide your family."
Nik sent out a text, "I sent my Hybrids ahead to watch until we get there." He looked to Mason, "Are you wanting to change?"
Mason nodded, "I would. Hopefully I can come out of hiding."
Lia and Katherine laughed, "I'm sure Damon will try something again."
"Luckily, Lia likes me more than him." The all laughed.

They had let Mason wake and drink before heading out. Now, they were meeting up with the Hybrid's Nik had sent out. "What have you seen?"
"The vampire and witch left not that long ago. I think they're coming back though." The Hybrid replied.
Nik nodded, "Keep watch, we're headed in."
Everyone but Lia was stopped as they entered. She turned, confused, "What?"
"I don't think the witches want us in here." Nik growled.
"I'll go check and see where they are" She could see the protests coming, "I'll be right back." Turning, she quickly searched through the house until she ended up in the basement. She kept feeling like something was trying to push her away, but she kept going.
