CHAPTER 19

~~Aria~~

Walking down stairs, connecting arms with Ace as we walk to the ballroom, Lola walks to us with a tray of champagne, "here you go Mr. And Mrs Vanderpool" she says before winking, her mother hits her on the shoulder scolding her.

Ace takes a glass, giving her a soft smile, she puts the tray in front of me, I shake my head "I'm not spilling any secrets tonight, thanks Lola, let's go now" I say to Ace as we walk into the ballroom.

All eyes on us, I see Tory and lily Talking as Lily's face brights up when she sees me, Theo standing between them, he looks annoyed, his hand around lily's shoulder.

I smile at them, people surround us with so many question, like how did you meet?, was it love that got you together?, do his kids love you?, how is you business going?.

I feel a hand pull me out the crowd, it was a woman with dirty blonde hair, she wore a tight red dress, with too much cleavage showing, her eyes a light blue color, she looked like she was in her 30s.

"It's hard being in that crowd, hi I'm Cora" I swallow harshly as shock washed over me, it was her, the woman that Theo told me about, it was Aces Ex wife, she puts her hands in front of me, I look at it then her, before shaking it, putting on a fake smile.

"Yeah it is... I-I'm Aria, nice meeting you" she smiles at me, my heart beats out my chest, as she connects her arm to mine we walk, my eyes meet Tory's her face looks like she is about to kill someone, Lily looks worried, Theo matching Tory's face, Isaac mouth something to me, it sounded like (get out of here, before that crazy bitch kills you).

Pulling me to the side she start talking and I have to fake laugh at her stupid jokes, and all that goes through my head is where are you Ace, I need you.

Surrounded by business investors is my fucking nightmare, I look to my side and Aria is not there, I see Tory approaching anger was all over her face "oy move!!" She yells at the men and women surrounding me, before pushing them aggressively.

They all go in silence, some of them leaving the group and some are moving away, "your not his wife to tell us to move" a woman said, Tory looked at her in a disgusted expression "do you wanna know how a punch feels like" Tory said in a sarcastic tone.

The woman looks down before back away, "thanks for saving me", "I don't give a shit about you, Aria is with that cunt your fucking Ex Wife pulled her aside to talk, and she looks scared, so go get her, don't fuck it up, if anything happens to her, a knife is going to be the last thing you see".

I walk so fast I could start running at this point, my eyes traveling around the party, to the entrance door and exit door, I finally spot her pulling Aria out the ballroom, I walk even faster, in the hallway I yell "Cora!!!" She turns with a smirk in her face.

Walking to me, Arias face when she released her get comforts my heart, i don't have to say a single word for her to understand me, go Aria, go to Tory or Theo.

She nods walking to the other entrances of the ballroom "Long time so see Ace, you haven't changed one bit" I take a deep breath, "you have".

"Well you know what they say age is beauty", "In some peoples perspective that's not the case, like you".

She rolls her eyes, "let's talk on the rooftops, what do you think?" She asks, "sure..." then we walk to the rooftop.

We got there, "this was my favorite place to come... I saved you from Scott, I saved you by telling you how he was going to-" I cut her off "you know the Iron Maiden torture device that was used in the 19 century", "no"she replied.

"If was this the iron case that was human size, what they would do is put the prisoner in there and there were spikes all around this case, and then they would close it, the prisoner would have to stay inside that for days even weeks until their system does work, and their was this other torture method, it's where they would put a rat in a bucket on the prisoner's stomach, and the rat would get so hungry and trying the find a way out they would start eating the prisoner's stomach and travel all the way to their mouth, the prisoners would have to be tortured and eaten alive and going through unspeakable pain"

"Why are you telling me this?" She yells, "because it's how I kill Scott and your dear brother, your so fucking stupid to think I would believe a single thing that comes from your mouth, your brother wasn't giving information to Scott, it was to you" her face drops, "Ace, please you probably j- just understand it's w-wrong I was-" her words are cut off by Tory pushing her off the rooftop.

We both look down, the gate's spikes going through her stomach, before I can call the guards Tory stops me, "wait an hour, let her feel the pain".

"I don't know how someone like Aria became friends with a crazy person like you", "and I don't know how some like Aria married a psychopath like you".

"Good night Ms. Hart", "good night Mr. Vanderpool".

And we both went out separate ways.

Entering the ballroom everyone has already left.

I walk upstairs the nursery door is open, I walk to it standing on the door frame, she looked down at them, a soft smile on her face, a tear fall on her cheek, she brushed her hand Gia's face, then turning on the music box.

She turns her eyes meet mine, she wasn't wearing her heels, her sad gorgeous face shining, I walk towards her, before I could reach her she walks to me wrapping her hand around me, I hear her crying, in my shoulder.

"I was so scared" I wrap my hands around her tight kissing her forehead, "don't leave me again" she said softly, "I will never love, I will literally never".
