Today was the day before Valentine's and I had yet to talk to either of the boys. Was I avoiding them? Yes most definitely. Had either of them tried to seek me out? Not to my knowledge no, but I was quite talented at avoiding people when I wanted to. I didn't see either of them in classes for a week after the incident and following that, I wasn't in my classes for the remainder of the second week since Umbridge had me doing other tasks for her.

I mostly wrote reports on classes and what was being taught, occasionally graded our DADA work, and even got to run errands for her around the grounds.

The rest of my time was spent at our meetings. Since we were only a few months away from the end of the term, Harry thought it was for the better if we scheduled multiple meetings a week, so we could progress faster. Also, since school resumed, Umbridge has been tightening up on security. She's sent more people on patrol, particularly on the seventh floor and has even scheduled more interviews in hopes of catching us. She would often vent to me about how difficult and annoying the task was and would even let me in on some of her plans, so naturally, I would tell Harry. When she left her office I would always peek into her drawers and find the folder containing scheduled patrols and share them.

I knew she was closer and closer to catching us, so we had to be extra careful. The amount of times she's almost caught one of us had grown immensely and we were all beginning to grow a bit paranoid, but we refused to share it.

I walk through the halls in hopes of finding an empty corridor I can work in. I needed to get a jump on all of my makeup work since I missed quite a lot. I wish they would have just excused me from the assignments. Flitwick and Trelawney were a bit more lenient, but Snape was the worst of them all. He seemed to give me more work to do since I couldn't physically brew the potions in class. I'm taking essays galore along with defining every ingredient and its origination. It was horrible and my hands always felt as if they were just about to fall off.

As I turn the corner I run smack into someone, knocking myself onto the ground as my books and supplies got strewn all over the room. I run my head and groan.

"Who would've thought it'd become routine to run into each other." Theo jokes with a laugh, rubbing his head, "I think I might just be concussed."

I look up at him, a surprised look plastered across my features. This wasn't exactly how I was picturing our first interaction after the incident.

"I'm sorry- I think it's something with me actually. I always seem to be running into people...perhaps I need glasses." A laugh nervously.

"Or maybe you need to look at where you're going." He adds in.

My face drops as soon as I understand what he says. His eyes shoot open in shock after realizing the underlying meaning his words portrayed.

"OH! No, I don't mean that to be rude, just in the sense that- never mind..." He tries to explain but ends up giving up when he can't say exactly what he was originally meaning to. He rubs the back of his neck awkwardly as I just sit there trying to understand what he was trying to say.
