I did as she instructed. This ice cream is incredibly delicious; I've never savored it like this before. Yet, this moment stands out, solely because I shared it with her.
The ice cream's color left her lips vibrantly colored and slightly darkened, and her nose got a hint of stain too - she looks absolutely adorable, just like a kid.
I gestured towards her nose with my finger, but she didn't understand, and she raised his eyebrows in confusion.
"Kya?", she asked.
(What?)
I chuckled, took a step closer to her, and gently rubbed her nose with my thumb, wiping away the colorful smudge.
"Bachi ho bilkul", I says shooking my head in disbelief.
(You're a kid)
I caught her gazing at me incessantly, her eyes fixed on mine as if mesmerized, until we were interrupted by a sudden voice, shattering the spell.
"20 rupay hue aapke", that icecream men said.
(20 rupees for ice-cream)
"Rudra, can you please pay the amount, actually I don't have change", Aarti said in rushed, her eyes darting to her phone, but the sudden rush of hearing her say it for the first time left me breathless.
I paid the amount via Google Pay, and we departed. However, the huge smile on my face lingered on, refusing to disappear.
Since this is a casual and simple date, we'll enjoy it in a normal way. So, for our next date, we'll travel by auto, not by car.
"Autoo", she yelled, frantically waving her hand to hail the oncoming autorickshaw.
As the auto halted, she asked, chalein?", her tone inviting.
"After you ", I replied, gesturing for her to enter first.
She chuckled softly, a playful glint in her eye, and slid into the auto ahead of me.
We were only two in the auto.
"Madam kaha chod du?", that auto driver asked.
(Where should I drop you, mam?)
"Hill road market", she replied.
The auto driver kicked the engine into gear and we set off.
"Are you comfortable?", she asked turning her face at me.
