I burst through the hotel door, rushing to respond to Tina's urgent call. My breath caught in my throat as I wondered what could have gone wrong.
It was only 8 am, with our big event scheduled to start at 12 pm. The hotel was eerily empty, considering its opening time was 9 am.
"What happened?" I thought, my anxiety growing with each passing second.
I hastened to the room Tina had summoned me to and found her standing there, looking frantic. But what I saw next left me stunned. Several staff members were lying on the bed, motionless.
"Aarti, We were all preparing for today's event. But then, suddenly, everyone's health took a turn for the worse." Tina explained in low voice.
As I again took a look of everyone who was unconscious, I was feeling not good.
"The remaining staff members have been isolated in separate rooms, and medical professionals are providing them with care and treatment." She said making me compel to think that, "What's the reason behind everyone falling ill together?" I questioned.
She shook her head in denied. "No idea."
"We're running out of time, and there's still so much to prepare. Not a single dish is ready yet. How will we manage everything?" She grabbed her head and said worriedly.
"Don't worry. We still have three hours left." I know this is difficult, because accomplishing so much in such little time isn't easy, but for the sake of my hotel's reputation and my own pride, I'll do whatever it takes.

Honestly, the dish list felt like a monumental task, especially with the time constraint. Seventeen dishes, including some from different countries, was a lot to take on. I've made most of these before, but there were a few that I'd never tried, and they seemed particularly daunting.
If there was staff then all this would have been done quickly but now only Tina and I have to do everything.
"C'mon Aarti, hoja shuru." Wearing apron I took the pan and started my first Italian dish.
Today, I started my periods, and I'm dealing with excruciating cramps in my abdomen and lower back, which is a common issue for me on the first day. The discomfort is overwhelming.
I'm managing so far, just feeling a bit uneasy. Oh lord Shiva, please take care of everything today and don't let anything go wrong.
"Time is flying faster than a metro train! It's already 10:00, and we've only managed to complete seven dishes. How will we finish the remaining ten? This is impossible!" Tina was on the verge of tears.
I don't know how to made her relax? The pain was in my stomach was growing now, which I can't bear.
Inhaled. Exhaled. Inhaled. Exhaled. Inhaled. Exhaled.
