Chapter 14

Jennifer's POV:

After spending a week at Josh's house, we're finally getting ready to leave to go to my parent's house in Louisville.

I walk into the bedroom to find Josh's trying to get a suitcase close. I laugh as I make my way over to Josh and sit on the suitcase. He zips it close and I stand up and wrap my arms around him.

"I can't wait for you to meet my whole family! Including Ben and Blaine's family!"

"I can't wait either! Let's get going shall we?"

We take our suitcases and head into Josh's moms car and she's going to drive us to my family's house.

We arrive there an 1 hour and a half later and take our suitcases out of the car as we say goodbye to Michelle.

We head inside and are greeted by my mom and dad.

"Hi Karen, hi Gary!" says Josh.

"How you doing Josh?" asks my dad.

"Well, how about you?"

"I'm doing just fine. We're having a barbecue outback right now with everyone, so how about you join us?"

"Ok!"

I bear hug my parents and then Josh and I go onto the back porch to greet everyone.

"Hey little sis how's life?" asks my brothers, Ben and Blaine.

"Good, how about you guys?"

"Life's doing pretty great! What about you and Josh?"

"5 months and doing fantastic for your information!"

Josh wraps his arms around my waist as I kiss his cheek.

I then spot all the kids on the play set. I immediately run up to my little nephew Bear and spin him in my arms.

"How's my favorite 5 year old?"

"Good Auntie Jen!"

"Do you remember Josh?" I say as I point to Josh.

"Yes! Josh!" screams Bear.

Josh runs over to us and scoops us Bear.

"Hi Bear!"

"Hi Josh! Can you push me on the swing?"

"Yeah buddy!"

Josh and I stand behind the swing set as we push Bear on the swing.

"Your going to make an amazing father one day you know that?"

"Well your going to make an amazing mother one day."

I kiss Josh passionately and soon enough we're interrupted by Bear walking up to us.

"Why did you stop pushing the swing for me?"

"Sorry Bear."

"Auntie Jen, why are you kissing Josh?"

"Well I didn't tell you this but Josh and I are more than friends now."

"Well then what are you?"

"Josh and I are boyfriend and girlfriend."

"Oh okay, but Josh you should know that Jen has cooties."

"I don't have cooties!"

I pick Bear up and start kissing all over his face and he starts screaming.

Soon enough the burgers are ready and we all sit on the picnic tables outside.

Josh rubs my leg and look into his eyes and lean in and kiss him.

"Hey, I'm eating here!" shouts Ben.

"Shut up! You should get used to this! You even have a wife!"

I grab Josh's hand over the table and enjoy this time with him and my family.
