Chapter 20

Jennifer's POV:

SEPTEMBER 20TH- DAY OF THE WEDDING!:

I wake up in my bed and turn to my side to find nobody. I then realize that Josh went to Liam's house because today, I am marrying my best friend. Just a minute later, I am being bombarded by Jena, Willow, Laura, and my mom to help get me ready. Right before they shove me into my dress I ask, "Can I at least eat something first? I'm starving!"

"Oh sorry," says Jena.

"Here let me go grab something," says Laura and runs down my stairs.

A few seconds later, she comes back with an apple, which I scarf down in 2 minutes. We then put on the bridesmaids dresses and my dress, and start doing our hair and makeup. They curl my now longer hair and put simple, light makeup on me. They then put me in low heels because we'll be on the beach and I don't want to trip. Soon enough, we are in the car, on the way to the beach, where I will finally become Mrs. Hutcherson.

10 minutes later, I arrive at the beach and lock arms with my dad as my party starts down the aisle.

It finally gets to be my turn to go down the aisle, and as I start walking, I instantly spot Josh, in a grey suit with a light blue tie. He has tears in his eyes and I just now realized, I do too.

I finally get to the end of the aisle, in front of the priest, and I take Josh's hand. Before I know it, it gets to the vows. Josh's is first and I can't wait to hear what he has to say.

Josh's POV:

It's my turn to do my vows and I can't wait to express all these feelings to her.

"Jennifer, right when I saw you, I knew you were the one. I just was too much of a wimp to admit it to you, and I was caught up in a relationship that I didn't want. When you said yes to being my girlfriend at the premiere, I was so happy. I was finally in a relationship I knew I wanted to be in. 10 months later, as I stand in front of you, I still feel the same way. Absolutely in love with you and I always will be. I love you"

I look right into her eyes and I see a tear drop and I wipe it away. It's now Jen's turn to tell her vows to me and I can't wait to hear what she has to say.

"Josh, the same thing that happened to you, happened to me. I saw you and I was instantly in love. Never did I think it would end up like this, and I'm so glad it did. When you asked me to be your girlfriend at the premiere, I was so happy. Only this right here, could beat that moment. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and I am so excited to see what the future will bring us. I love you Josh and I always will."

I then start to tear up again and Jen wipes them off. We both laugh lightly as the priest continues.

"The rings please."

I take Jen's ring and say what the priest tells me to say and I slip the skinny silver band on her finger.

Then, Jen takes my ring and says the lines as she slips my thick gold band on my finger.

"Do you, Joshua Ryan Hutcherson, take Jennifer Shrader Lawrence to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

"And do you, Jennifer Shrader Lawrence, take Joshua Ryan Hutcherson to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss your bride.

I then lean in and kiss Jen passionately on the lips, as we take our first kiss as husband and wife in front of our family and friends. Nothing could beat this moment in front of a beautiful beach.

We break away after a little while and holds hands as we run down the aisle.

We hop into the car and head to the reception and we are both so incredibly happy.
