With each passing week, Emily and Nathan's work dynamic continued to deepen. They had fallen into an easy rhythm, a kind of unspoken understanding that made collaborating with him feel natural. They could bounce ideas off each other, challenge each other, and bring out the best in their campaigns.
But there were also moments that felt... different.
One afternoon, while they were reviewing layouts in the design department, Emily found herself standing close to Nathan. The space was cramped, and as they leaned over the desk to look at the computer screen, her arm brushed his. It was a fleeting touch, but she felt it. Nathan didn't move, but she noticed the way his posture tensed slightly, as if he had felt it too.
