After spending the weekend with her mother and her daughter Maya, Elizabeth arrived to school Monday morning searching for Lucas to thank him for what he did for her at the frat party Brooke forced her and Peyton to go to. Ellie let out a sigh as she noticed him standing in the hallway speaking with Haley as she made her way over to them, " Hi" Ellie smiled as she looked between the two of them as Haley cleared her throat awkwardly, " I'll see you guys later. I'm off to find Nathan"

Ellie smiled slightly waiting until Haley left until she turned her attention back to Lucas before bringing him into a tight hug only for his eyes to widened in surprise but wrapped his arms around her waist before she pulled away, " thank you again. You didn't have to come to my rescue when Brooke called but you did I don't know how to repay you. I'm just really thankful you know" Lucas smiled as he stared into her bright blue eyes, " I will always protect you Ellie. How are you doing with everything"

"I feel like an idiot that I got myself in that position but I've spend the entire weekend with my mom and Maya. I'm just glad to get away from her for a little bit she won't let me leave her sight I'm gonna kill Peyton when I see her" Ellie groaned with a roll of her eyes only for Lucas to let out a laugh as the two started walking down the corridor, " how's your punching hand?" Lucas looked down at his knuckles before shrugging his shoulders, " a lot better than the other guys face. Were good right? You know after what happened at Nathan party"

"Don't worry about it of course we're good. We're friends, Luke" Ellie replied making Lucas smile nodding his head in response as he pulled out a book from his backpack, " I have something for you" Ellie frowned with an confused look on her face and asked, " you do?" Lucas nodded his head in confirmation handed her a book called ' The Winter Of Our Discontent, " it's that book I was telling you about. I thought you might want to check it out"

"Oh, I definitely want to check it out. I suppose I could read the book, too. But you have to do something for me" Ellie smirked with a mischievous look on her face only for Lucas to tilt his head to the side with a grin, " I do? Do I? Like what?" Ellie shrugged her shoulders with a bright smile, " I don't know. Something fun. Deal?" Lucas nodded his head once again at the blonde beauty, " Okay, deal" Ellie smiled in an excitement bouncing on her feet, " Cool. This is going to be so much fun. Hey is that Peyton? P.Sawyer! P.Sawyer! Hey, don't run away from me! I'll see you later, Luke" Lucas laughed watching as Elizabeth run after Peyton who tried hiding behind Brooke.

Elizabeth was sat in the driving seat in her 1969 Chevy Camaro singing softly respect by Aretha Franklin causing Lucas lips to turn up as he glanced over at the girl as she put her foot down on the gas building up more speed watching as the wind increase due to speed she is driving watching as her hair blows everywhere causing her to push it out of her face enjoying the way the wind felt as it blew through her hair causing Lucas smile to widened as it was like watching her in slow motion.
