" All I remember is you, me, Ellie and tutor girl in my car" Brooke muttered as she was walking between her two best friends as the three of them were heading towards the school building, " and then Lucas and Nathan and then Ellie said something about being into Lucas but it could of been Nathan, and I need to know" Ellie had a look of disgust of her face as she couldn't imagine being anything but friends with Nathan as he was like a brother to her making Peyton let out a laugh at the blonde's expression and questioned Brooke, " need?"
"Two of them, three of us. There's isn't enough Scott boys to go around plus I guess we could still trade off once in a while or twice. Win-win" Brooke smirked causing Peyton and Elizabeth to share an amused look shaking their heads as they approached Lucas who was sitting outside at one of the tables reading a book. " Hey, broody" Brooke greeted making Lucas look up pulling out his headphones when he noticed the three girls, " Hey, Cheery...Ellie, Peyton" Ellie smiled sending him a nod causing Brooke to smirk seeing the look Lucas was sending her best friend, " So, I'll see you at practice"
"As always" Ellie smiled at the brunette shaking her head at Peyton who winked at her before following after Brooke. Elizabeth slid onto the bench on the opposite side where Lucas was sat, " so, what's the deal? Are we gonna hang out at this annual Scott money burn or what?" Lucas scoffed shaking his head in disbelief and resorted, " Yeah, right. Like I'm gonna spend the night with Nathan and Dan on my Friday off? I don't think so. I'd rather stay home with the great gatsby"
Ellie giggled pushing her hair behind her ear before she raised her brows at him and informed, " you know, I read a book last night" Lucas had a curious look on his face looking at the blonde girl who was sat in front of him, "really?" Ellie nodded her head in confirmation and explained, " Yeah, it's about this girl and this guy, and they've got this really weird vibe thing going on, but there's all this drama cause this girl has this best friend who turns out to be none other than the guys brother. So the whole thing comes to this great, big climax at this big party at their evil dad's house"
Lucas couldn't help but laugh at Elizabeth leaning forward with a look of interest on his face, " Really? And what happens in the end?" Ellie shrugged as she stood up placing her bag on her shoulder and teased, " I guess, you're just gonna have to show up to find out" Lucas watched her as she walked away heading inside the building going to class but he couldn't help the smile that appeared on his lips as it was pretty clear he was fascinated with the girl.

Ellie was sat next to Nathan in class not really paying attention as she was writing in her song book, " Hey, you coming to my dad's party tonight?" Nathan quietly asked making Ellie lift her head nodding her head in agreement, " Yeah, of course I am. I would never leave you alone to fend for yourself. I can't get anyone to babysit Maya so I'm gonna have to take her with me and can you please ask your mom to stop pestering me, she wants me sing at this fundraiser thingy your dads doing"
