"Here we go" Lucas spoke grabbing a book from the bookshelf in the library looking down at Ellie, "this is the writer I was talking about" Ellie smiled softy as she loved how passionate he is about books and how he seems to get lost in the story's he was so different from Liam he was compassionate and caring it was one of the things that she loved about him, " Somerset Maugham?" She smiled tilting her head to the side, " you're so cute"

Lucas cheeks flushed slightly looking into Ellie bright blue eyes and continued, " human bondage" he read the title of the book only for her to smirk leaning against the bookshelf, "human bondage? Interesting choice... are you trying to tell me something?" Lucas's eyes widened slightly, and a flush crept up his neck shaking his head letting out a laugh, " yeah, it's not like that. It's a classic... about obsession and heartbreak. Totally different."

Ellie smirk only grew wider as she stepped closer wrapping her arms around his neck, "Uh-huh," she teased leaning forward her lips brushing against his, "if that's what you're going with. Whatever helps you sleep at night." Lucas shook his head, trying to fight the grin tugging at his lips. "You're impossible," he murmured leaning forward to press a kiss against her lips, his arms slipped around her waist, pulling her closer, his hands resting against the small of her back as he lost himself in her.

Ellie sighed softly into the kiss, her fingers threading through his hair as she pressed herself closer, her body fitting perfectly against his deepening the kiss before they pulled back their foreheads rested against one another, " let's get out of here" Lucas frowned with an confused look on his face, " right, I just thought that this was about an opportunity for us to spend some time together you know, hang out, with each other" Ellie smiled softly as she shook her head and assured him, " and it is but can we, maybe do it someplace that smells a little less funky"

Lucas grinned smelling his book before moving it in front of Ellie face, " it's the smell of old books" Ellie giggle grabbing the book moving it away from her face, " like I said. Come on. It's my turn. Please?" Lucas sighed pushing her blonde hair behind her ear, " Fine" Ellie grinned grabbing ahold of his hand pulling him towards the exit, "Good. Now let's go somewhere that doesn't smell like a history lesson." It didn't take long until they arrived at the studio, " are you sure I'm allowed here. You know to see the behind the scenes to the great Elizabeth Jones creating her music"

"Of course. I mean, you were the one who pushed me to do this if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here doing the thing I love to do most" Ellie smiled shaking her head in amusement, " you encouraged me to meet with Adam Dessner. I was too scared to take the next step but you, Peyton and Brooke were the reasons why I signed the record deal. I wrote a song for you" Lucas couldn't help but smile as he followed Ellie into the building, " for me? What's it about?"

"Uh, it's kind of... personal. I've been working on it for a while now, but I wasn't sure if I should share it with you. I didn't want it to be weird or anything, but I... I felt like it was time." Ellie shrugged her shoukders causing Lucas to gesture his head towards the booth, " come on, then, let's hear it" Ellie smiled walking into the room letting out a nervous breathe before she placed headphones on her head stepping up to the mic nodding at her music producer who started playing the soundtrack of her song.
