The next morning dawned bright and peaceful, a stark contrast to the turmoil brewing within Jin. He had spent the day at the restaurant, dealing with unruly customers, miscommunications with the kitchen staff, and the general stress that came with managing a business. But what weighed most heavily on his mind was the sight he had witnessed earlier that afternoon.

Mina, his estranged wife, had walked into the restaurant with another man—tall, charming, and far too comfortable in her presence. The two of them had laughed together, as if they were old friends, and Jin felt a sharp pang of anger mixed with confusion. He had wanted to confront her, to demand answers, but he had managed to keep his composure and stay professional. Yet the sight of them together had ignited an internal fire he couldn’t extinguish.

As he walked through the door that evening, the weight of his frustration hung over him like a dark cloud. The familiar sounds of Jiwoon’s laughter and Mia’s cheerful voice reached his ears, easing some of his tension. But as soon as he entered the living room, he saw Jiwoon fast asleep on the couch, his innocent face peaceful in slumber.

Mia looked up from where she was sitting with a book in her hands, her eyes meeting his. “Hey, how was your day?” she asked, her tone bright and warm, as always.

“Awful,” Jin replied, running a hand through his hair, his frustration spilling out. “Mina showed up at the restaurant with another guy.”

Mia’s expression shifted from cheerful to concerned. “I’m sorry, Jin. That must be really hard for you.”

He could feel the anger bubbling inside him. “It is. I just... I don’t know what to do about it.”

Jin stepped further into the room, pacing slightly as he tried to gather his thoughts. “I just can’t believe she’s moved on so quickly. It’s infuriating!”

Mia nodded sympathetically, her gaze steady as she watched him. “You deserve to be treated better than that, Jin. You’ve been doing your best for Jiwoon, and it’s not fair for her to make you feel this way.”

“Yeah, I know,” he replied, his voice thick with pent-up emotion. “It’s just hard to deal with. And I feel so... angry.”

Mia stood up, placing her book down. “Do you want to talk about it?”

Jin shook his head, feeling his frustration twist into something deeper, something he hadn’t expected to feel. “I don’t think talking will help right now. I just... need to take the edge off.”

Mia hesitated for a moment, and Jin could see the concern in her eyes. “What do you mean?”

“I don’t know. I just feel... pent up,” he admitted, the heat of his emotions making it hard to breathe. “Maybe I just need an outlet. You know?”

There was a tense silence as Mia looked at him, her expression unreadable. Jin could feel his heart racing, a mix of emotions swirling within him—frustration, anger, and an unexpected yearning.

“Jin...” she began, but he cut her off, taking a step closer.

“Mia, can I ask you something?”

“Sure, what is it?” she replied, her brow furrowed in confusion.

“Can I fuck you?” The words spilled out before he could think them through, raw and desperate.

Mia’s eyes widened in shock, and for a moment, they stood in silence, the weight of his request hanging heavily between them.

“I—” she stuttered, searching for words. “I don’t know, Jin. That’s... that’s not just a casual thing.”
